It is with some reluctance that I share this review. My family and I are planning a return visit to Denny Creek, and I'm afraid we're about to make it tougher to book some time there. Denny Creek is no secret, but you have no idea how good it is until you've been. The website just can't do it justice. The house is gorgeous, immaculate, and well stocked. It just felt like home. It is located on a long stretch of country road in a quiet, beautiful setting. The scenery surrounding the house is so good, you won't want to leave. Allen (the owner) is an incredible host. He went out of his way to make our stay perfect. Our only regret was not booking more nights and spending more time around the house. We won't make that mistake next time. If you are looking for a place to stay while visiting Yellowstone, or just need a place to get some much needed rest, look no further, this is it!

Absolutely loved the rental! The house was beautiful. Loved waking up and seeing the mountains out of the patio door. This was by far the best rental I have ever had. The views from the living room and sunroom were fabulous. Everything was very clean, and the very well maintained. Every day after leaving the park, watching the sunset over the mountains was great. Would definitely recommend this rental to everyone. Had all kinds of room, in fact it was bigger than my house. We will rent this one on our next trip to Yellowstone. Everything was as described. There was nothing that could be done better in the decorations. Allan Anderson answered all of my questions, and their Outpost Resteraunt had the best food in West Yellowstone.

I have stayed in many amazing VRBO rentals over the years. I have NEVER stayed anywhere that even came close to Allen and Debbie's Denny Creek Lodge! I shouldn't say this, because we're already discussing a return visit, but if you are looking for somewhere to stay to see Yellowstone and the surrounding areas, you would be foolish to look any farther. No exaggeration! Everything about this rental is superb, from the cleanliness, to decor, to sleeping accommodations, to location, it is perfect. On our trip, we visited every park entrance and there's no comparison to West Yellowstone. It's a quaint little town of extremely friendly people (we needed a prescription from the Silvertip Pharmacy but planned to travel the next day when it would be available... the prescription was waiting for us on the porch when we got home!) Dining in town was great... check out the Outpost's homemade fair... Allen and Debbie are the proprietors. The west entrance to the park takes you right past the only road visible Bald Eagle nest (complete w/baby and momma) that we found in the park. Also, the buffalo jams were a daily entertaining way to start and end our explorations! (Be patient, it's why you're there!) As I said before, the rental is the best I've ever stayed in, but there's so much more to say about this special place! The creek is serene and beautiful and right out your front door. The pastureland surrounding the cabin is filled with horses, cattle, and avian wildlife. Bring your binoculars! Every morning and evening we watched the birds and BATS swoop across the fields. More species than we could count! At night, when a storm blew through, we turned off the lights and watched the lightening show from the sunroom... awe inspiring! Want to fish? Call Allen, he brings out tackle and offers to clean what you catch! Again, this cabin is equipped with the best of everything and with a mind toward comfort and aesthetics. I know it's booked for the '10 Summer Season, but you would be smart to consider booking for next year. You won't be sorry. I'll end with one more anecdote: My mother, who had to be convinced to take this trip and who considers Holiday Inn Express "acceptable, yet not optimal" accommodations, did not want to leave Denny Creek Lodge. To quote her, "I only regret we did not plan a longer trip so we could have more time "at home" here. Let's plan another trip to stay two weeks and not go anywhere!" Thank you, Allen and Debbie!

We recently stayed at Denny Creek for a week and had an amazing time. Simply put, we couldn't have been happier with the house. It was located in a quiet area with the mountains as the backdrop for our time there, but it was close enough to the city of West Yellowstone to enter the Park easily and get anything we needed in town. We especially enjoyed the sun room where we had all our meals and spent most of our time. The house was very clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We would highly recommend this house to all our family and friends!

We had a wonderful time! The view of the mountains was breath-taking. With 2 babies with us, we made numerous trips into town (7 miles away) which worked out great for us. The cabin was very clean, organized and we couldn't have been more pleased! Allen and Debbie were great and we HIGHLY recommend staying here.

WOW.....on a whim we decided to go to Yellowstone. Not wanting to eat in restaurants all of the time we looked at renting a cabin where we could retire for the evening, cook, relax and enjoy the scenery. We found it!! Denny Creek Lodging has to be one of the best places my wife and I have ever stayed, either in this country or overseas. The pictures on the website are not accurate....they can't show how great a place it really is... We would encourage others to consider staying here but might be cutting our own throats if word gets out how great a place it is. Allen and Debbie are great hosts, everything was perfect; house spotless; completely stocked kitchen (no food of course!). We enjoyed the week being surrounded by such beauty so much that we never even turned on the television in the week we were there....although we DID hook up our laptop for email. Another hint - if you want to try some bison, trout or other local fare....try the restaurant that Allen and Debbie run in West Yellowstone, a specialty is their rhubarb pie! Allen & Debbie....thank you for making our vacation so memorable!!

I highly recommend this home for a vacation rental. It is very clean, and the views are incredible. It is close to the park, very close to the rodeo and horseback riding. We had a great stay and the owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. It has everything you need from linens to kitchen appliances and outdoor grill. The creek keeps the kids occupied and waking up to that view is awesome. I would definitely stay again if in the area and would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends and relatives.

We had a lovely time staying at this cabin - we're so glad we found it on the internet! It is VERY spacious and has a full kitchen, including a crock pot, electric griddle, roaster, waffle iron, and all the pots and pans you would need so you can save money by making meals instead of eating out. Also has a gas grill - great for cooking out. The decor and furnishings are very comfortable - not too fussy and it was easy for us to childproof for our 22 month old. It was VERY clean - spotless, actually. Lots of towels were provided for our stay. The wireless connection worked well - We brought our notebook computer and were able to connect to the internet while we were there and send pictures to family. There were only 5 of us but the place could easily accommodate more. We enjoyed eating meals in the sunroom but the dining table is perfect for larger groups. The cabin is only a few minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. We'd stay there again in a minute! It was like being able to visit Yellowstone with ALL the comforts of home!
