Aptos ocean view! Feel the ocean mist from the decks of this dream vacation home that is warm, inviting and quiet. 2 bedroom, 2 bath house with ocean views. Spacious roof top deck with 360 degree view. There is a full view clear across the Monterey Bay.

Only 1/2 block (2 minute walk) to the Rio Del Mar (Seacliff) State Beach, fishing pier and concrete freighter, The Palo Alto (commonly known as the "cement ship"). Lovely weather year-round.

Arrive to find a fully furnished two level home that sleeps 8 with 2 queen beds 1 queen fold out couch and 1 twin (an additional inflatable twin mattress is also provided). All linens included. A gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, blender and iron are all there to make you feel at home during your stay (plates, silverware and cookware provided).

Amenities include: Cable TV; DVD player; VCR; FREE, unlimited high-speed Internet access; a CD player/radio; CLEAN, new patio furniture; and a BBQ. Convenient access to grocery stores and restaurants.

And don't worry about parking! There's plenty of FREE off-street parking (a carport with 3 off-street parking spaces).

Small dogs allowed, no cats.

Why the Owner Chose Aptos

This is such a wonderful beach area! It's a large beach next to a State Park Beach. So it's maintained well. It is very family oriented, and the pets are a loved addition to this area.

The Unique Benefits at this House

It's walking distance to the beach. It's on flat land. So it is an easy 2 min.walk to the sand on the beach. I've have many family and friend gatherings at this house. It's a well loved house and location for anyone that loves the beach!!

    • We are a family of six that rarely goes on vacation. When we booked this beautiful condo several years ago we were a bit leery that perhaps it was more suitable for a couple without kids. Thankfully, we were so wrong. This condo is now our four children's and our favorite vacation destination. The views are phenomenal; the large, fenced rooftop is a perfect play spot while the parents enjoy the view; the rooms are extremely comfortable and the kids can all sleep in one room downstairs with their own TV and bathroom while Mom and Dad get to enjoy the upstairs solitude, watch a movie or even entertain friends. We all love to cook and the kitchen supplies met our needs superbly. Now when we visit the condo, we know we don't have to bring along all our own special cooking tools. With small children we were worried about being too close to the water, but with this condo we have the spectacular view but the condo itself is ideally situated a half block from the actual beach area. The local restaurants are extremely kid-friendly while also retaining their romantic atmosphere--i.e., don't expect to find a Chuck 'E Cheese in this quaint town. There is even an adorable snack shack that has wonderful homemade Italian ice cream. And, the best part is you can walk everywhere and never use your car once you arrive at the condo (it was so nice to not have to deal with car seats for a full week). Every time we visit the condo it just keeps getting better. Obviously the owners believe in constantly upgrading their property; we are so grateful that they have also kept the rental fees very reasonable and have not passed on their expenses to us. We definitely recommend this condo as a perfect vacation option for a single person, a couple, several couples or even one or two families. Oh, and even our small dog was welcome…but don’t worry, the condo always smells and looks immaculate with no traces of pet smells or hair. P.S. We don’t own this property, but we wanted to write a great comment because we love it so much and want the owners to know how much we appreciate their willingness to “share” their home with us.

    • Very nice, cozy upper unit that was just a short walk to the beach. Beds were comfortable and so was the sofa/chairs, etc. Owner's father made the best guacamole we have ever had!
