Welcome to your beautiful Outer Banks vacation home! Upon arrival, you will be greeted by large wrap-around decks that allow you to feel truly "kissed by the sun" no matter what direction the wind blows. Newer, spacious home just a short walk to the beach.

Enjoy the ocean views from the large family/kitchen/dining area which allows you to easily accommodate your entire family. Begin your day with a dip in our large private pool (36' x 16'), join in a game of basketball or billiards, or simply relax in the six person hot tub. Decks are complete with high quality outdoor furnishings. The kitchen opens to the upper deck, which allows oceanview dining from the polywood picnic table (seating for 8 adults).

Ground Level: Rec room w/ pool table, kitchenette, TV/VCR and stereo w/CD, bedroom w/2 bunk sets and a semi-private full bath. Mid Level: King master bedroom w/TV/VCR, Queen master bedroom w/TV/VCR & porch access, Queen bedroom w/TV/VCR & porch access, bedroom w/2 Bunk Sets w/TV and a semi-private bath and laundry. Top Level: King master bedroom w/TV/VCR and private porch, great room, TV/VCR/DVD, surround sound and stereo w/CD, kitchen, dining area w/ breakfast bar.

There are also tons of extras including beach chairs, beach umbrella, grill, outside hot/cold shower, baby gate, pack and play, high chair, basketball goal and beach toys.

All towels and linens provided.

VRBO Bear stayed here - 05/08/2009 The VRBO bear is especially fond of short getaways that provide comfortable accommodations, tasty local foods, and easy sightseeing. The Sun-kissed property provided each of those essentials and more. The house had all of the vacation comforts a lazy bear craves- plenty of privacy, nearby shopping, and an easy crawl to the beach. Everywhere I looked, there were enticing spots beckoning for me to enjoy a sweet, relaxing nap.

After hibernating till noon, I emerged from slumber to dine on the local versions of barbeque, seafood, or pizza. After all, it’s never too early to start putting on a little weight for next winter! Then, I sauntered off to visit one of the nearby points-of-interest including the historic Whalehead Club, the beautiful Currituck Beach Lighthouse and the famous wild horses of Corolla. North Carolina has many charms to soothe the savage bear and the Sun-kissed property offers access to them all.

  • We spent a week at 'Sunkissed' and absolutely LOVED EVERYTHING! From lazily sitting by the pool to enjoying late nights in the game room, it was an all around amazing trip. Our group favorite was the hot tub, though the ocean is a close runner up! The way the house is structured allows for both privacy and at the same time, a real group feeling. We also enjoyed bike rides on the beach, and many great meals in the Timbuk II shopping center (and also at the Sunset Grille in Duck!). I fully reccomend this house, and also the owner, who kept in close email contact with me, answered all questions fully and easily, and even called us while we were there to reccomend 'the best pulled pork sandwich' by the lighthouses!

  • We just got back from a wonderful vacation at this home - 06/02/2006 - 06/10/2006. We had an absolutely fabulous time. We loved the house. We had a family reunion and had 15 people in our group ranging in age from 4 to 78. We all enjoyed the house and never felt that we were sitting on top of one another. We enjoyed the decks, the pool with the outside sound system, and the short walk to the beach on a daily basis. The kids stayed on the bottom floor and had their own space as well in the recreation room. I can't say enough about the house. It lived up to and exceeded our families expectations. We are hoping to come back again within the next few years and do it all over again. Thanks for your honest appraisal of the home and the surroundings. Having beach toys, boogie boards and bicycles available made it possible for us to come from 3 parts of the country with nothing more than clothes and still have a great time. With such a short walk to the beach, our 4 kids (all under 5) easily made the trip. With such an awesome experience, we are already looking forward to next year's visit.
