Come visit our beautiful 1 Bedroom, 1 1/4 Bath ski chalet, which is part of The Red Pine Condominiums and was completely redecorated in 2005 and updated again the summer of 2007! Ideally located at the base of The Canyons Resort, the Canyons is Park City's largest mountain - it is where the locals go because it is larger than Park City and not nearly as crowded.
Our beautiful Red Pine condo is located just a short 30-35 minute drive from the Salt Lake City International Airport in the heart of the Wasatch Mountains. The 3500 acre Canyons resort recently underwent a $65 million upgrade which added 10 new lifts, including an 8 passenger gondola, along with a new mid-mountain lodge and the first European "People Mover" in the United States.
The Canyons was one of the 2002 Winter Olympic hosts and to the NBC's "The Today Show". Within 5 miles of our condo there are two other premier ski resorts - Park City Mountain Resort (don't miss Jupiter Bowl) and Deer Valley (don't miss the French toast for breakfast). Over 8,550 acres of terrain and over 9,290 feet of vertical await you - all within 10 minutes of our condo. Seven more ski areas are within an hour's drive, including Snowbird and Alta, and don't forget that heli-skiing adventure with Wasatch Powderbird Guides!
The area has true year round appeal. There is great snow in the winter and spring and practically unlimited hiking and biking in the spring, summer and fall. We are skiers who have travelled a lot and have come to appreciate how much more enjoyable a vacation can be when it is spent in a nicely appointed home - the most affordable way to do that is to rent directly from owners. We have priced our condo to rent, not take advantage of people looking for an affordable vacation.
A short walk across our parking lot leads to the clubhouse, which includes: laundry facilities (coin operated), two full-size swimming pools (one is heated to 100 degrees in the winter), a kiddie pool, jacuzzi, sauna, tennis courts and volleyball court, all included in your rental fee. After a day skiing or hiking, relax in the sauna, soothe tired muscles in the hot tub, or take a swim in the heated outdoor pool.
Downtown Park City is 2 1/2 miles south with shopping, 80+ restaurants, and cultural activities such as the Sundance Film Festival, theatre, and several art galleries. Less than one mile down the road is the new Redstone complex with shopping, micro-brewery, cinema, and a Coldstone Creamery as a bonus. Across from Redstone is the Tanger Outlet shopping with a Banana Republic among the many shops.
You can enjoy gorgeous mountain views from our private patio or from the living room in our ideally situated corner unit. Relax by the cozy fireplace and watch the sun set behind the mountains, or just take in the view.
Our chalet has all the comforts of home:
The kitchen has the cookware, dishware, and appliances (including dishwasher, 4 burner stove, oven, and microwave) that will allow you to easily prepare your own meals.
In the living room, you can relax on the brand new Ashley couch and warm yourself in front of the hassle free Alpine gas fireplace, or watch a good DVD or cable tv on the brand new 27" television. A sliding glass door connects the living room to a private deck, where you can enjoy peaceful mountain views and crisp mountain air. For additional sleeping arrangements, the living room couch pulls out to a brand new queen bed with a Simmons Beauty-rest mattress pad.
The bedroom has a brand new Simmons queen size bed, a large closet, and plenty of dresser space.
The bathroom includes a bath tub and shower, and there are 2 separate sink areas that offer plenty of space and privacy for getting ready.
Our condo is situated between The Canyons main parking area and base village. To get to The Canyons, you can walk 5 minutes or drive down to the main parking lot for The Canyons. From there you take the free Cabriolet Lift up to the ski area's base. If you don't have a car or don't feel like walking, take the free shuttle that stops just 100 feet from our front door and takes you to The Canyons base area. There is also the free Park City bus service that takes you to Old Town Park City, Park City Mountain Resort, or Deer Valley Ski Area in just a few stops. A 7-Eleven is right down the street, and a large supermarket is about 1.5 miles away.
Red Pine is the perfect location - Close to the airport, 3 large ski resorts and an average snowfall of 300-500 inches a year!
This is our vacation home. We love it, and think you will too.
For the comfort of all our guests, this is a non-smoking, no pet accommodation.
ADDITIONAL RENTAL TERMS:
* A deposit of two nights is required within 5 working days of reservation request. Reservation is not confirmed until deposit payment is received.
* A refundable damage deposit of $75 is required at the time of final payment. This deposit will be refunded within 5 days of departure, providing no damage is incurred.
* Full payment to be received 30 days prior to arrival. Bookings made less than 45 days prior to arrival must be paid in full at time of booking.
* Cancellations made 30 days or more before arrival date will be refunded but will incur a $100.00 handling fee. Cancellations made 30 days or less before arrival date will forfeit entire payment unless dates are resold, when payment will be refunded minus a $100.00 handling fee.
* Check-in time is after 3:00pm on arrival day. Check-out time is before 10:00am on departure day.
* Three night minimum.
