We enjoyed connecting up with my husband's sister's and his brother 's families all under one roof. The house was so well layed out it allowed room for all while having enough common space to enjoy sharing meals together and visiting with one another. The kids and adults enjoyed all the Lake activities (fishing, diving, swimming, boating skiing, tubing, and wake boarding) that they rarely needed to go to town except for a trip to Randy's Custard (of course) and shopping. The house has everything you need and we had no problem sleeping 15. Grilling out under the gazebo in the evenings was very enjoyable, even when rainning. The new ladder is a great addition to the dock and made getting in and out of the Lake very easy! We appreciate that Henry was always available to us by phone to answer any questions we had. Thanks again for the use of your nice home and making our summer vacation special.

Our family came from Europe, Wisconsin, and California with 8 adults and 3 grandchildren, ages 1, 5, and 7. Henry's house suited us well because the 2 living areas allowed those with laptops to work away from the action. The 4 bedroom suites gave privacy and allowed us to spread out. The larger master enabled the 2 grandsons to have each a convertible bed with no fighting over blankets, while parents slept comfortably in king-sized bed. We enjoyed cooking, games, foosball, and were in the wonderful water every day. Thanks to Henry's connecting us with Gary, we had jet skis and boat to enable much fun. The dock's ladder and and high dive gave us enjoyment and EASY access, even for grandparents! Thanks, Henry!!
Owner response:Thank you friends. The new "wet steps' ladder is more like walking up to your front door rather than climbing. The slide, diving platform and paddle boat makes the lake that much more fun.

We had a wonderful family reunion in Henry's house with 8 adults and three little grandchildren, ages 1, 5, & 7. The kids came from Europe, CA, and WI. We enjoyed 2 living areas so folks who brought their laptops could work away from the family noise. We also enjoyed 4 separate suites so that each family could spread out, including the largest master where the 2 grandsons each slept on convertible beds with no fighting over "covers"and the parents slept on kingsize bed! We also appreciated Henry's connecting us to Gary who provided boat and jet skis. The dock ladder and jump were exceptional as we spent every day in the water. THANKS, Henry!!

Just spent a week here as two families. House layout is great as the adults were upstairs and the kids downstairs. Eight of us were comfortable in the house and did not feel crowded. If you plan to be on the lake, make sure Henry connects you with his friend for boat/wave runner rentals. Better deals and equipment than what you can get from a marina. Dock was great for fishing or just hanging out. Everything you need is in the house, except for groceries. You're far enough from town to prevent the kids from constantly wanting to go, yet close enough for a grocery run if needed. Would recommend for a families who want to be on the lake, but away from the main channel.
Owner response:Contact Gary or Debbie for the boat rentals: 805-279-1305. They have great boats with the 150 hp engines needed to get down the lake. Their wave runners are tops. But be sure to reserve early. They'll save you a lot of money, deliver the boats to the dock, and you can keep them overnight.

Dear Henry, Thank you for your home. It was very accommodating for our large family. Half of the folks didn't want to come this weekend and ending up having a grat time. The only problem was the little golf guy kept following us around and looking over our shoulder. Other than that, all was well. Thanks again, and hope to be back soon. God bless, The W Gang,

What a great location!! The view, the nice quiet cove, we couldn't have asked for a better spot for our family vacation. Thanks for calling and checking on us, that was very thoughtful of you. We have vacationed at the Lake for many years and we all agreed that this place was the best! We had a great time and we will be back next year. I hope 'Woody' forgives us for putting a towel on him. Thanks The S family

Here we are again for year 3 in your home for our family vacation. We just love it because everyone has thier privacy (bedroom/bathroom)while the open area allows all 12 of us to have meals together and great conversation. This year we celebrate my 60th (can't possibly be) birthday. The entire family is here. Accomomodations, esy walk to the dock, weather & food were great. We each are responsible for a meal, and wow - we've decided to return again in 2005. Thanks loads for sharing your home. Sincerely, F

Our family rented the House for a Spectacular week! The house is wonderful - spacious, welll located, well equiped and well maintained. We tried everything offered at The Lake: rented PWC & Boats over at Glen Cove Marina - Nice people, good equipment: went para-sailing down near the Dam. Played golf at several differant courses - all great. . . but slow, went out with a fishing guide - saw some bueatiful parts of the Lake, but fishing was best in this cove. Caught many bass ranging from 1 - 4.5 lbs. Finally, took family to the water park & Minor Mikes. all - in - all, a great week. Fantastic weather, bueatiful setting. The Millers
