The seaside town with a privileged situation has become a tourism port of the French Riviera, place of call for numerous cruise ships.
The apartment is located between the basse corniche and the moyenne corniche with easy access to the buses. A 5-10 walk to shops and restaurants. Stroll through Old Town and watch the activity on the waterfront. Dine at one of the many restaurants in an unspoiled romantic atmosphere that is unforgettable.

One of my favorite things is buy local ingredients in the Nice Market and cook a wonderful meal. Saturdays there is a charming little market on the Basse Corniche in Villefranche sur Mer. Make this your base while taking one day trips.
We hardly ever rent a car, a bus pass for 7 days is all you need to go all over the area for unlimited rides on the bus.
Velo-bleu has bike stations. Visit them online.

The view from this apt is so awesome! We were there in October/November 2011 and woke each morning to watch the sunrise straight across the bay. We were very comfortable here. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Has a great washing machine and even though there is no dryer its amazing to see how fast things dry in the Mediterranean air and a drying rack is provided. The two twin beds pushed together were very comfortable. Overall we were comfortable and happy here. Very serenely quiet except when neighbors are upstairs( the residents aren't permanent) but you even get used to that. Villefranche is the place to stay on the Riviera and the proximity to Nice is excellent. We didn't have a car and got around fine but you do have to walk up and down hill to get here. To us this was part of the charm. We would definitely return and will recommend this place.
Recommended for:Age 55+, tourists without a car.

This apartment is extraordinary, well equipped and beautifully appointed. This was our 2nd stay in 2 years in Mrs. Woods, French paradise. Breakfast on the terrace, lunch and dinner on the covered porch. Everything you could ever want is available, this is the most relaxing and beautiful spot we have ever vacationed. I am certain that we are yearly visitors.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car.

Our family of four stayed at this wonderful apartment for 3 nights...and it was difficult to leave. Everything about the location was ideal. The apartment was well-equipped, with nothing needed. The view from the large deck overlooking the harbor was spectacular. Owners Debby and Mark were great to work with. We are eager to return!

What a wonderful place! The view is terrific. We could have been satisfied with simply sitting and look across the bay of VF at Cap Ferrat .
