  1) Listing description regarding the location was accurate. 2) Listing photos failed to accurately show broken stone patio table/broken plastic sun chairs/uncut lawn & weeds. 3) Property was clean, but maintence was lacking: >Initially entry could not be gained due to door locks being stuck...neighbors assisted in freeing locks. >Windows were stuck and extremely difficult to open. >Gas grill had faulty regulator valve and propane tank was near empty. Tenant repaired at own expense. >House central propane tank ran out. No instructions were given on what to do/whom to contact. >Sony flat panel TV failed after power outage caused by Pelican flying into power lines. Landlord claims that tenant is responsible for repair/replacement. TV had blurry/faint picture quality before it failed and was obsolete by today's standards. >DVD players functioned fine, but did not have Blu-Ray capability for playing current generation HD movies. >Stairway to second level had broken handrail support. 4) Owner was absent during entire 3 month lease and was overbearing on the phone. 5) I would not recommend this property to a friend or relative. I left with a somewhat negative impression of the Florida Keys and will not return.

  Great place with all the keys for you to play in. excellent fish market just across highway 1 by bridge on west side with fresh fish and produce. Small market towards the south end of town on east side has the meats and other needs. Canal was clean and fun to watch the fish in. Bahai Honda is the best beach maybe ever. If looew reef is blown out just spend the day at the beach. Go to the Dry Tortugas. Very Nice owners and more than willing to work with you. Best time with wife in a long time the upstairs made a great couple house and we used the downstairs as the staging area for the daily excursions. Perfect arrangement and place.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

  We had a great time on our vacation to Summerland Key/Key West. This condo was great, it was clean and had all the amenities we required. Beautiful view from the upper porch (we're missing our morning coffee with the view now that our trip is over!). Quiet neighborhood, perfect for coming home and being able to get a good night's sleep. Our kids loved watching the planes take off and land and thought it was so cool that people had planes in their front yards along with cars!

  This property has everything that you could want for a comfortable vacation. The location - 25 miles north of Key West is great - enough for day trips, but a welcomed retreat when you arrive back at your temporary "home." The water in the canal is crystal clear. The house was clean and well-maintained. I would gladly rent this property again for a wonderful, relaxing family vacation. Lisa was always responsive and provided us with information whenever needed. We enjoyed The Wharf restaurant - went there frequently for delicious fish dip and multiple flavors of margaritas (including blood orange). Also, Square Grouper had a very unique flash fried conch appetizer. The Keys are a great place to vacation, and we cannot wait to return!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  What a great place! Very clean & comfortable. The owner was extremely accommodating and operates a great dive boat right at the house! Could not have asked for a better host. Thank you Sam, hope to see you again.
