We are located on the tranquil South end of Manasota Key on the World's Safest Beach; shallow waters with no undertow, making it great for swimming as well as shelling. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2100 square foot condo offers spacious living with a large living room/dining room and three private bedrooms with carpeted floors. The rest of the living area is tiled with large area rugs in the living room and dining room. There is a large sectional sofa with recliner and chaise finished in red leather. The entertainment center has a 42' LCD TV with digital cable and High Definition programming, a 5.1 channel surround sound with DVD player and VCR as well as a DVR player to record your favorite shows for viewing at a later time. The living room has direct access to the verandah and a tremendous gulf-front view.
The kitchen has granite countertops with plenty of counter space for cooking, spacious cabinets and double door refrigerator with built-in ice maker. In addition, there is a state-of-the-art stove, microwave, dishwasher, disposal and dual stainless sinks. The kitchen is fully stocked including dishes, glasses, utensils and cookware. We even provide a blender for Margaritas!
This beautifully decorated condo has 3 large bedrooms providing sleeping for eight guests. The master bedroom has a King bed, private bath with bathtub and separate shower as well as a 32' LCD TV & DVD player. The second bedroom has two Queen beds, LCD TV and DVD player. The third bedroom has two twin beds & LCD TV/DVD player. Each bedroom has fresh linens and towels.
Manasota Key is a barrier island located off the southern Gulf Coast across from Englewood and 15 miles south of Sarastota. The island is accessible by one of two bridges; one in Sarasota County and one in Charlotte County. Once on Manasota Key, visitors are enchanted with this island with no high rise buildings, no traffic lights and no crowds.
A two-lane road runs the length of the island with pristine beaches. The Sarasota County part of the island is completely residential, and the Charlotte County side is residential with a few businesses. The far south end of Manasota Key is a state park and wildlife sanctuary. This pristine island is covered with lush, tropical foliage and has a large variety of activities. Manasota Beach has 14 acres of white sand beach and sand dunes, special areas with picnic tables, fire pits, boardwalks and bathhouse facilities. Blind Pass Beach is ideal for swimming, fishing and has a nature trail for hiking. This area is known for its excellent game fishing and has a docking area for boats on the Intracoastal Waterway. Many golf courses and tennis courts dot the area, while snorkeling, diving and water skiing are just some of the other activities to enjoy. Manasota Key is approximately 2 ½ hours from Disney World and all the other theme parks of the Orlando area.
The Gulf of Mexico with everything it has to offer, restaurants, shopping, many excellent golf courses and fishing charters. Local fishing in the area is great! There are many marinas where you can charter a boat to take you out in the Gulf for a variety of local fish! There are several golf courses in the immediate area, perfect for the avid golfer. The North Port/Port Charlotte, Venice area also have many great restaurants for all tastes.
Disney is a 2+ short hours away for a day or overnight trip! Bush Gardens in Tampa is an hour away. Key West is also only a few short hours away by car or boat on a local charter service. The central west coast location gives you a great location to venture to a multitude of Florida state parks and other attractions.

Our family of 7 had the privilege of staying at this beautiful, beautiful condo over Christmas. First, let me begin by saying that the owners were a joy to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure any and all questions I had were answered in a timely manner and they provided a binder in the condo with everything and anything one would need to know about their condo and the beautiful area of Manasota Key. The condo was very well equipped, VERY CLEAN, and VERY SPACIOUS (the pictures on the website don't do it justice). The view from the condo veranda was more than breathtaking. We woke up every morning to the sound of the ocean and relaxed every evening with some of the most beautiful sunsets one could ever imagine. A walk along the beach provided plenty of shells,sharks teeth and friendly conversation with other families passing by. The swimming pool was great for morning sunning. Shopping is just around the corner from the island. If you are budget conscience, choose Sweet Bay Super Market over Publix's, both are very close to the condo. There are many restaurants/bars (Flounders, White Elephant, Lock & Key) within walking distance to the condo. The Beach Road Boutique is a must for all the "girls". They have a wonderful selections of unique art and jewelry pieces and a wonderful apparel selection for every age. We had a "girls night" at the Beach Road Wine Bar (adjacent to the boutique), but shop before you hit the wine bar!! We couldn't have been more happy with our "Home Away from Home" for the holidays. I want to take this opportunity to say thank you and Happy New Year to Dick and Peggy. This is a MUST STAY HERE AGAIN CONDO...AND YES, WE WOULD LOVE TO.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

This place is everything you want on a beautiful beach with fantastic views. I stayed for 2 weeks and loved every minute I had there. The condo is very spacious, decorated beautifully. The view from the balcony is priceless. The Manasota Key area makes for a great location, it's as quiet or busy as you want it to be. We spent a fabulous Christmas at this beautiful, clean, upscale condo. It is more spacious than it appears in pictures and has every amenity you could possibly want. The sunset views from the balcony were breathtaking. We have visited Manasota Key several times and this location was the best---you can walk to restaurants and the public beach in a few minutes. Your own private beach area is filled with shells and shark teeth and the dolphins swim by regularly each day. The owners are very easy to work with---they even offered us their stored Christmas decorations so we were able to decorate for the holidays just like home! And our security deposit was returned on the day we got back home. You will not be disappointed in this vacation location and we definitely recommend it for a relaxing vacation on the beach. Working with Dick and Peggy was a pleasure----thanks for sharing your lovely condo with us! We spent a fabulous Christmas at Palms 2. This beautiful, clean condo is bigger than it appears in pictures and has every amenity you could possibly desire. The sunset views from the balcony were breathtaking. We have visited Manasota Key several times, and this location was the best--you can walk to restaurants and the public beach. Your private beach is filled with shells and shark teeth and the dolphins swim by regularly. The owners are very easy to work with---they even had Christmas decorations stored for us to borrow and decorate the condo just like home! You will not be disappointed in this vacation location and working with Dick and Peggy was a pleasure. Thanks for sharing your lovely condo with us! My husband and I just got back from enjoying a relaxing and quiet week at Dick and Peggy's condo. The condo is very spacious, clean, well equipped, and the views and sunsets are breathtaking. Neither of us had been in Manasota Key before, and really liked the closeness of the condo to the beach. We used the grill, swam in the pool, walked the beach and found tons of shells. We had some of our family there for part of the week, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely recommend this condo to others. Dick was so easy to work with - responded to my emails promptly, and gave suggestions on eating out, etc. For restaurants, we enjoyed the Gulfwater Grille, Lock & Key, and Food is Love. All were close by and had very good food. Thanks again Dick & PeggyRecommended for: Romantic getaway.

Location, location, location... What a large condo, much bigger than appears on the photos, beautifully furnished and decorated. Huge master bedroom with ocean view. But the best room in the house is the large covered veranda. The beach is uncrowded, perfect for swimming, shelling, watching sunsets and strolling. We watch dolphins and manatees swimming by every day strait from the porch. Complex has a nice swimming pool, perfect to use during hot time of the day. We used outside grill and watched kids swimming in the pool at the same time (very convenient). There are few restaurants within walking distance. Publix and Wall Mart also very close. Did not want to leave, one week was not enough. If you like quite and peaceful vacation, book this condo, you will not regret it. We definitely will be returning again. Thank you Dick for shearing your beautiful condo with us!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

We just returned from 2 fabulous weeks at this condo. It was well equipped, beautifully furnished, very spacious and comfortable. The location is great. The condo is right on a beautiful, uncrowded section of the beach and within walking distance to 4 restaurants, bars and convenience store. We particularly enjoyed watching the amazing sunsets from the patio and listening to the waves at night. If you enjoy shelling and walking the beach you will love it here. We saw many dolphins go by. We appreciated the covered & spacious parking garage and the good supply of beach chairs, umbellas and children's beach toys. It is exactly as described, no surprises here. Good golfing, shopping and dining options are nearby in Englewood & Venice. We love Manasota Key as it is laid-back and uncrowded, very relaxing. The owners were very helpful and easy to reach & deal with. Thank you Dick & Peggy for sharing your beautiful condo with us. We would love to rent again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo to couples or families.Recommended for: People with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

This condo is everythinig the pictures and descriptions say and more. We were not disappointed. We have been to Manasota Key the last five years and this is by far our favorite condo. We will definitely be back. We would definitely recommend this condo to friends and family. If you go, be sure to go into Englewood and have breakfast at "Food is Love." We discovered this little diner a few years ago and they have the best breakfast around; hands down.Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

:) LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CONDO . WE WERE ALL VERY COMFORTABLE AND LOVED EVERY SINGLE MINUTE. THE PICTURES DO NOT DO THE CONDO JUSTICE. IT IS 100 TIMES BETTER.(HAS EVERYTHING) WE SAW SEVERAL DOLPHINS EVERY DAY AND THE SUN SETTING EVER NIGHT. WE EVEN SAW THE MOON SETTING INTO THE OCEAN(THAT WAS AMAZING) ALL RIGHT FORM THE BALCONY. I VISIT THIS AREA EVERY YEAR AND THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST EVER. MET A FEW LOCALS AND THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY. THANK YOU TODD FOR LETTING US ENJOY YOUR HOME. This extraordinary property is a study in luxury. The pictures displayed are accurate but may not give you an understanding of the generous size . The villa is large and beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms gorgeous, and the location excellent. The beach and the views of the beach are as good as it gets anywhere on the gulf coast. We loved every moment of the two weeks we spent and will look forward to another opportunity to rent this villa. Communication with the owners was friendly and warm and I appreciated their desire for us to enjoy our experience with them.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, age 55+.
