We enjoyed our recent stay at this lake house. The views from the back deck are just wonderful! We also loved the views from the huge glass windows inside. It was nice to just relax and fish. The owners were wonderful and very helpful with everything. We certainly hope to return!!

We really enjoyed spending a few days in your lakehouse! We enjoyed playing games in the living area, and relaxing on the back deck. We also spent lots of time on the boathouse deck - great view of the lake and enjoyed the sunsets. Additionally, I want to say that the owners were very accomodating and helpful! It was a pleasure to rent from such kind people and made our stay that much more enjoyable! Thank you!

My family and I had a great time at Doug and Lisa's house on Lake Sinclair. The house was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. The yard and pier were fantastic. We had a great time at this property! The guys had an awesome time fishing. They caught over forty right off the dock. The kids had a blast playing in the sand and water. The location of the property on the lake was perfect. We plan on going back!!

We had a Wonderful,Relaxing stay at your home.I especially loved the screened in porch where I could just curl up with my coffee & book early in the mornings & late in the evenings.The home has everything we needed & has inspired me to come home & clean out closets to try & find the same feel of less is More! The dock was perfect for my husbands Seadoos & I really liked the fact that we were only ten minutes from Wal-Mart unlike some places we have stayed on the lake.Thanks for being so kind & understanding to my last minute booking,I really needed this getaway.Hope to book with you soon.

A great place to vacation at Lake Sinclair. We were very pleased with the property, and felt it was a terrific value. The elevated sun deck is awesome. If you bring a boat or jet ski, take some hull bumpers to use in the boat slips as this part of the lake can have a lot of boat traffic in good weather. Slab shellcrackers can be caught right in front of the dock, and they are great eating too. Very nice area on the lake, centrally located between Milledgeville and Eatonton. We plan on going back. Great choice for a weekend getaway as everything you need is provided. Lisa is a joy to work with and will bend over backwards to ensure your time at their place is spent relaxng and enjoying the lake....they have thought of just about everything to make your stay hassle free.

My family and I stayed at this location for 6 days. We had a wonderful time. It was a nice setting. The home was spacious. There were games, puzzles, movies and books available as well as cable TV. The view was gorgeous. It was a wonderful spot for a relaxing time.

Nothing but positives to say about this rental!! Spent a week playing on the water with all the comforts of home. Owners were very accomodating from the get go, with date changes and special requests. Loved the house, screened in porch, and beautiful view of the lake. The dock area is well equiped for water craft, and umbrella and chase lounges provided for hours of leisure time on the dock. Our family had a wonderful week at the lake. We would highly recommend this rental. Our first experience with a rental through VRBO could not have been better!!

My girls and I spent a wonderful relaxing week at this great lakefront home. We spent time on the lake, the water was smooth and beautiful and perfect for our SeaDoo. Great screened in porch. My favorite time was sitting on the dock reading in the early morning, and watching the beautiful sunset. Easy drive from Atlanta.

Our stay was at the end of June 2010. Everything was as advertised. The owners were very helpful in seeing our stay was a good one. Great house, neat, clean, Satellite, DVD player, Great sound system. Close to the water, good fishing, no big crowds, quiet. Easy to find, many local sights for day trips. Our family and guests had a wonderful time and we will vacation here again.

Our family had a very nice time at your lake home in June. Your home is beautiful, roomy and in a very nice area. Things were quiet and peaceful and our grandchildren enjoyed the sandy beach area. The rides on the sea-doo were super in the calm water. We had a relaxing visit.

We needed a place not too far from home, but "worlds away" from our routine. It was just what we wanted ---- peaceful and quiet and very comfortable. I especially loved reading on one of the screened porch rocking chairs, and my husband enjoyed having his morning coffee down on the dock. The house had everything we needed plus serenity. Next time, we may fill up the other two bedrooms with kids and grandkids.....or not. =)

Beautiful Lake House

We had a great time!! We rented the house for the weekend to celebrate my daughters birthday and we had a wonderful time!!! The house is absolutely beautiful. We took our boat with us and spend some time tubing and riding around on this beautiful lake. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to get away and have a nice relaxing time!! We will defiantly be back!!

What a wonderful weekend. House is perfect size and layout. Very clean and fresh. The yard is perfect so the family can choose to play in the nice grass, the beach area, on the dock or in the water. Both the covered porch and open deck provide places for the kids to play and the adults to relax. South Shore has EVERYTHING your home has. From all necc. kitchen utensiles, lounge chairs, grill, fishing poles, floats, etc... All you need is a pair of flip-flops and a toothbrush. If you need to rent a boat check the Twin Bridges area. Great way to spend an entire day on the water. Thanks Lisa for making this a wonderful way for us to begin our summer.

Lisa, we had a great time while staying at the lakehouse. The house was fully equiped with everything we needed. My nephew and niece loved the sand. The view from the deck was breathtaking. We are a group of 5 women that have been friends for over 20 years - we meet for a girls weekend once a year and stayed at this beautiful place this year. We will now always come back to this lake house - it was beautifully decorated, well stocked, and had beautiful views and lakefront access. The owners were excellent to work with and went out of their way to make sure all the plans were confirmed before the event and checked on us while we were there to make sure there wasn't anything else we needed. It was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend this lake house to everyone.

We stayed at this charming house during the "off season" when there weren't a lot of people around -- it was quiet and restful, and the view of the lake is beautiful. The screened-in porch is a lovely place for morning coffee, and the sun streaming off the lake and through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the morning is gorgeous!! The boat launch is just right down the street, so you don't have to go far to put your boat in the water. We enjoyed our stay, and will visit again!

Lisa, I'm late in posting a comment but didn't want 2008 to end without my saying what a wonderful time I had at your house in July of this year! For those considering this house, you will not find a greater person to rent from than Lisa Jacobs. This summer I rented for two weeks at the last minute (fortunately someone else had canceled), and the entire rental process could not have been any smoother. The house and dock are amazing, and I loved being there. You will fall in love with this property. I have rented houses over the years in Florida, Maine and Georgia, and by far, Lisa is the most organized and friendly owner I've ever rented from. One day while I was staying at the house and talking with Lisa on the telephone, I asked her the name of her previous realtor at Lake Sinclair. She referred me to Ron Houck of Craig-Massee Real Estate, and I met with him to learn more about possibly buying my own lakehouse at Lake Sinclair. (He's a great realtor and knows more about Lake Sinclair than anyone I've met.) He showed me 6 houses I selected from the online MLS listings. I fell in love with the first house and bought it that week! So, now I won't be renting Lisa's house anymore, but I definitely recommend it. The town of Milledgeville has great historical buildings, especially if you enjoy taking photographs, and Lake Sinclair is really beautiful. I've owned my lakehouse for four months now, and have visited it from Florida each month. You will love Lake Sinclair -- and also Lisa's rental house! Enjoy!

Lisa is one of the easiest people I have had the pleasure of doing business with. She worked with us on a couple of occasions to make our vacation special. What a wonderful week we spent at this very comfortable, clean, well stocked house. Lisa, the owner, was so easy to work with, answered all our questions promptly and the house was exactly as presented on the web site. Be sure to look at all her photos on this site, they are just as presented. We were a multi-generational group and there were comfortable spaces for all...whether you wanted to be inside or out...napping or swimming/fishing from dock. The two porches, screened and open, were perfect for all and the walk down to the lake was a gentle one, even for Grandma! Suggest you stop for grocercies before arriving at house because once there, you don't want to leave! We will be renting from Lisa again in the future, guaranteed!!

Hi Lisa, Just wanted to say thank you for sharing your beautiful lake house with us. We had an awesome week. We had coffee on the top dock every morning. Did a lot of swimming (really floating). Got that puzzle of the covered bridge done! Took us all week! Fished a little. Ate down at Crooked Creek Marina. The food was really good. Wandered around Milledgeville. I was happy to see a Walmart and Starbucks! In the evening we'd sit on the dock and enjoy the view . Your house looks so nice at night when the interior is lit. Just a great relaxing vacation. This was our second year staying here and we have again enjoyed the peace of your place so much. Either we are setting on your boat deck at night and enjoying the late day fishing or trolling from your house up and down the lake early in the morning you just can not beat this location for fishing and relaxing. What an awesome weekend we spent at this lakehouse!! We had everything we needed at our fingertips and enjoyed our "girls" weekend tremendously. We just loved the dock and all the time we spent there. Coffee on the dock, watching the sun rise every morning was was so relaxing. Boating and fishing was great. Loved the screened in porch/deck...we spent most of our time there....eating some good grill meals I could not have asked for anything more. We will be back for sure. Lisa, the owner was one of the most pleasant people I have ever encountered. She even called me on my birthday to wish me "Happy Birthday"....how thoughtful was that! Your lake house was BEAUTIFUL! It's furnished wonderfully, like somebody's home..not a vacation home. Very impressed! I appreciate all of the comforts of home that you have (i.e. garbage bags, dish detergent, puzzles, etc.) We loved our weekend! Weather was great! Went fishing, but didn't catch anything, but kids loved their first time fishing! Thanks for letting us stay in such a clean, beautiful home!

Lisa, The house was absolutely beautiful and I have been converted to Serta matresses. :) We had a great time fishing and just being together as a family. My husband was diagnosed with leukemia last year and we spent all the holidays in the hospital. We are so thankful that we were able to "vacation" this Thanksgiving. The 10 days we spent at your Lake Home was wonderful. The kids started and ended the day swimming and jumping off the dock. Having everything provided for us made it a very relaxing vacation. What a great place to vacation. Awesome views ... big water ... beautiful yard ... comfy house. Everything you need is already there, right down to the turkey baster and yard games. It was so convenient to drop in our jetski at the boat launch right around the corner. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the dock every evening. We truly did not want to leave. Lisa- Thank you for a wonderful weekend! Our 'SisterChix 07' weekend was a complete success! We had ladies from Moultrie, Savannah and Atlanta meet for a weekend of fun. Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your house at the lake. Your home is very nice - we liked the openess of the living areas, the big screened porch and the "upstairs dock"! This is a beauty! The house and location was absolutely perfect. Everything that anyone would ever need was right there...all you have to do is show up. Cannot get any better than that. We were sad to leave, but definitely will be back. A++ vacation!
