Located in the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, there is a wide sandy beach and sand bars that appear to change weekly. The beach is backed by lovely little dunes dotted by swaying grass. Watching the sun set over the Chicago skyline is worth the drive.

Don’t like the big city traffic? ..the South Shore train will have you in the center of everything in one and a half hours. Don’t want the bustle of the city?... only 20 minutes to the outlet mall in Michigan City or just explore Indiana or Michigan.
