I have been renting houses off VRBO for about seven years. I saw the cottage a couple of years ago and for some reason just never booked. WHAT A FOOL I WAS to waste so much time and money on other rentals. I had my first experience there a couple of months ago with some great friends that I have rented houses with before, AND HAVE NEVER BOOK A HOME A SECOND TIME!!! The second we walked in the door we were immediatley amazed and shocked. The house is small, PLENTY of room for four, painted in a fun, colorful eclectic tone with fun stuff to look at everywhere. There is a outside bar, private jacuzzi for the skimpies, private deck where we actually caught a fishing pole at. Also caught a HUGE catfish, not "Catfish Hunter" but close, right from the backyard as we were sipping our desser port that we purchased from Steele Winery, right up the road. Just went back last weekend...just the two of us and Oh Man...I'm a lady..SUPER ROMANTIC!!!! And now, after all the bragging I have done, my mom wants to go. Calling Beth right now to book another trip but thought i would drop a line first. Only takes two hours from my front door...even if your last minute, CALL HER! CANNOT GET CLOSER TO THE WATER!!! P.S. If the house smells like garlic, the shrimp were amazing!

We were lucky enough to spend one quick night, monday march 30th, at the grapevine cottage and had a wonderful time. The property owners were very kind and let me bring my dog who enjoyed the ducks and naps in the sun. The grapevine cottage is very clean, comfortable, easy to find, private, romantic, and beautifully located right on the lake. Can't wait to go back! thanks!!!!!
