  This is my third visit to Paris and by far this is the best apartment. Large for European standards and the bathroom you could actually move around it! This apartment was exactly as described and pictured in the photos. Everything is brand new, recently remodeled and in perfect condition. The manager, Theirry, is extremely helpful (even coming at 2 am to bring a new set of keys when my purse was stolen in Montmart!) The apartment was very clean and had everything you could ever need- iron, a really good hairdryer, umbrellas, washer dryer combination, laundry soap and dish soap, coffee maker, wifi and cable tv and free calling to the US and EU from the phone. Secure entrance and even more secure entry to the actual apartment. Balcony overlooks quiet street, Notre Dame tower and St. Chappel Cathedral. Excellent bakery 4 doors away, late night grocery store down the side street, fab wine shop down Ursins. 3 min walk from Ile St. Louis, the metro stop Cite, 5 min to Place St. Michelle, the boat cruises on the Seine, the excellent restaurants in the Marais and the ok restaurants in the Latin Quarter (if you are a foodie, walk to the Marais for dinner- amazing restaurants and not one bad meal there!). Avoid the restaurant with the tilted tables on the street behind the apartment- very bad! Didn't try the others. The bells from Notre Dame can be heard in the apartment, you are only one block away, and it was very pleasant, not intrusive and stops around 10 or 11 pm. Don't bring heavy large bags with you! We learned this the hard way. The stairs are easy to do without luggage but very hard with large bags because they are spiral (and in France, the 5th floor is actually what we in the US would consider the 6th)! Next time I will only bring a carry on. We didn't need all the stuff we brought because the apartment is so well equipped and the washer and dryer work great! (Have the manager explain which setting is "all in one" it washes and then dries your clothes in one load! Too cool. I want one! Run it at night, it is quiet but takes about 3 hours)When we arrived he had cold bottled water for us and flowers on the table. Oh, and I slept for 10 days on teh futon, it is a premium mattress. Despite a very bad back injury I was absolutely fine sleeping on it and it is easy to open and close with the sheets still on it. The bed was very comfortable too and the balcony with the chairs is just off the bedroom. You can't go wrong staying here! We loved it!

  Ladies and Gentlemen, Visitors to Paris, please be advised this is a really cool place to stay when visiting Paris. Notre Dame is a stone's throw away and outside the building's front door is a kind man serving up delicious Jambon and Crepes and Brie Sandwiches. The Seine is right there, all the museums are nearby, and the Metro is only around the corner. Monsieur Camus, the manager of the rental, is polite, friendly, flexible, and helpful. He also speaks english quite well if you are perhaps still timid when it comes to flexing your french language skills as i was. Looking at the HomeAway review tips I am reminded to mention that the add is truthful and accurate. As well, the apartment is clean and offers an advantage over other listings because there is not a separate cleaning fee. Monsieur Camus only asks that you tidy up and use normal common sense when your stay is over. Finally, I would recommend this apartment to friends and family and to readers of this review. It's cozy, romantic, and has those travel amenities such as a washer, refrigerator, and internet hook up that make a trip convenient. It's a good home base from which to explore and enjoy Paris.   My wife and I have traveled to Paris many times, staying in hotels and then apartments (first with son, and now by ourselves as he is off to college). We have stayed in the 7th and the 4th and this was our first time in the center of tourist activity) This made us a little nervous being 'right in the midst of the activity. We need not have worried as everything about the apartment was perfect. The apartment is small (as are all apts in Paris) but perfectly designed. The bedroom was clean and efficiently laid out, the bathroom was perfect and the kitchen servicable. What really makes this unit different is the service provided by Thierry Camus. In all my travels, he is the most accomodating person I have dealt with. He was there when we arrived, showed us everything about the apartment, gave us his contact number for any problems and even arranged a car for airport on our departure. He even had a complimentary bottle of wine on our arrival! He was a total professional! What can you say about the apartment-you are right there-with Notre Dame literally a block away. Markets on the Left and Right bank, restaurants everywhere. Access to metro nearby. The Marais, Latin Quarter all easy walk away. We recommend trying the restaurants on Isle St. Louis but also make sure to have a meal or two in the apartment, sharing wine while looking at the incredible view right out the window. And all the crowds disappear at 8 pm- amazingly, this becomes a quiet area at night. The one bedroom was wonderful and the Studio next door looked just as nice. We highly recommend this unit to anyone wishing to stay in this area. MAK, Vancouver, Wa, USA

  My husband and I finished our Europe vacation in Paris. The apartment was exactly what we needed. No more hotels or constant eating out. We shopped at a local market and enjoyed cheese and wine in comfort. The apartment is small, probably similar Manhattan style, but it had everything we needed. The washer/dryer was a bonus. I loved the view of rooftop from this apartments. There are cafes along the street directly below. Notre Dame is right around the corner. I absolutely loved hearing the church bells. A much needed change from Los Angeles. We very much appreciated our stay, and if in Paris again we wouldn't hesitate to call Thierry for another stay. Thank you!

  This is really a charming little place if you are in shape for 92 stairs. We were very happy with it. I loved hearing the bells of Notre Dame right out our window and looking down on the chimney pots and roof tops of Paris. Everything is walking distance: the free Sunday concert in Notre Dame, evenings of exquisite music in St. Chappelle, a nice cafe down the street for morning croissants, the Pompidou Center, the fabulous Church of St. Eustace, the Latin Quarter, with its English Shakespeare Bookstore, and the wonderful restaurant on Ile St Louis called Auberge de la Reine. And when you need to go farther, the Hop On-Hop Off bus stops practically at the front door. Another traveller's advice is spot on: Do NOT bring a large suitcase unless you have a very strong friend with you!

  Our family stayed for a few days before Christmas. We had the best time. The location is perfect. We were able to shop for groceries nearby, walk to the places we wanted to see and use the Metro when needed. The owner was very helpful at the beginning and the end of our stay but while we were there we were on our own - which was great. The apartment was clean and ready for us upon arrival. There are stairs to get from the street to the apartment so pack light if you can. We highly recommend this vacation rental and when we get the opportunity to go back to Paris will try to stay here again.

  The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated, cozy, bright and cheery, much better than a hotel room. We loved sitting on the balcony, having a glass of wine and taking in the sights. This was the nicest places we stayed during our 4 week Europe trip. You can’t beat the location. Staying in this apartment made us feel like we were locals and not a tourist. Many restaurants are available just to the south, across the river. Living that close to Notre Dame gives you the opportunity to see the night time street acts in front of the cathedral. I have already recommended this apartment to many of our friends and definitely plan on going back in the near future.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

  The apartment was just perfect! We enjoyed the extra space, we enjoyed the location, we enjoyed the view! The stairs were a challenge with luggage and late nights after a bottle (or two) of wine but it was worth each step once we made it to our comfortable "home". Thank you for sharing such a lovely place. L'appartement était parfait! Nous avons apprécié l'espace supplémentaire, nous avons apprécié l'emplacement, nous avons apprécié la vue! Les escaliers était un défi avec le bagage et quelques nuits aprés une bouteille (ou deux) de vin mais c'était un grand prix d’etre arriver à notre « maison » confortable. Merci pour partager votre tel beau lieu.

  My wife and I stayed at the Deluxe Notre Dame Panorama for a week in may 2010 . The location is unbelievable and the views on the Seine and Notre Dame from the flat afe really breathtaking . The flat itself is brand new and sunny , the lounge extremely well designed like the kitchen with all you may need ( including freezer or a washing Dryer machine ) . The bed is really "Deluxe" and you will sleep by watching is you want Notre Dame ! .Thierry, the guy in charge of the flat is really helpfull .Trust this one it's really on the best bet in Paris.   We spent five wonderful days in this very cozy apartment located 50 meters fron Notre-Dame on Ile de la Cité. Even though we were very central it was very quiet during the evening because the apartment is almost perfectly sound-proof. The little balcony is ideal to sip a glas of red wine and watch everything happening below. At the time of our arrival in April 2010 everything in the apartment was absolutely new and in top notch condition. The only thing you need to take into account is that the apt. is on the 5th floor and there is no elevator. We had no problems with this and are planning to visit again with our kids. Our contact Thierry was very helpful during our stay.
