Across the street, a pair of newly refinished tennis courts wait amidst one of the premier Frisbee golf courses in the country. Take one of the two house bicycles and ride to our local beach, next to the world class Bacara resort. Kayaking, surfing, hiking, fishing and every imaginable activity are within easy access.
Geographically located in Santa Barbara’s beautiful central coast, our home is a quick 5 min drive to UCSB and the Santa Barbara Airport. Glen Annie and Sandpiper golf courses are within 2 miles and downtown Santa Barbara is just 12 miles up our un-crowded freeway.

The Unique Benefits at this House
We love relaxing in the hammock watching people in the park that is located directly across the street. The park has a play area for kids, baseball diamond, frisbee golf, tennis, trails, etc. The beach attached to the Bacara Resort is less than 2 miles from the home. We have two great golf courses less than 2 miles from the home and one has a great restaurant. We are located very close to the Costco/Albertson's shopping center that includes a few nice restaurants to choose from. Downtown Santa Barbara is only 15 minutes down 101, which is free of traffic. The home itself has so much to offer. We love relaxing in the 6 person hot tub, watching movies on the big plasma tv, as well as surfing the wireless internet. The bar is always open in the family/living room! Kids love to come visit the home. They have plenty of room to play in the fenced yard, toys are provided for all ages, a portable crib and high chair are there for the really little ones.

Approx. late November through February the Monarch butterflies flock to the area to winter.

My husband and I love Santa Barbara and enjoyed living there for a number of years until his career forced us to move a few hours South to Orange County. We turned our beloved home into a vacation rental in 2005. Our hope was that it would allow us to keep the home and return as we could, as well as provide an affordable home for other families to enjoy. This has worked out very well.
