Our 1000-square-foot (includes lanai)one-bedroom vacation rental condominium is located overlooking the eighth fairway of the Kaluakoi Golf Course (closed 4/2008) with unspoiled views of Pãpõhaku Beach (three-mile beach), Kepuhi Bay, the natural terrain, and those famous Hawaiian Sunsets and spectacular moon settings. This downstairs (no stairs) unit offers one of the best views in Ke Nani Kai. These views can be enjoyed from the lanai, kitchen, living room/dining room, or the bedroom while standing, sitting, or stretching out!
SLEEP COMFORTABLY on a new, Serta Perfect Sleeper, queen-size mattress in the bedroom. This mattress is so comfortable that if someone tosses and turns all night, the other person never knows it! And, if you leave your drapes open at night, you will wake up to the sight of Kepuhi Bay and the moon setting!

Our unit is ABUNDANTLY AND ELEGANTLY furnished with all of the comforts of home. In addition to all linens, bath robes and pool/beach towels, OUR UNIT IS FULLY STOCKED with trash bags, hand dishwashing soap, dishwasher detergent, cleaning supplies, ziplock baggies, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, paper napkins, paper plates, plastic silverware for picnics, coffee filters, cooking spray, spices, sugar and Sweet & Low, ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise for your stay.
We also provide liquid hand soap for the kitchen and bath. You will find a small supply of toilet paper and paper towels. All of these items are included in the cost of your rental at no extra charge! Cleaning supplies and equipment are also found in the unit. Longer stay visitors are reimbursed for any additional cleaning supplies purchased during their stay.
We use our unit several times each year and it is fully equipped and it is waiting for you to call it "home" during your stay.

- Our condo sits overlooking the 8th fairway of the 18 hole Kaluakoi Golf Course (currently closed). This is a Ted Robinson designed golf course with many holes with water views (Closed 4/2008). In addition, the island offers Ironwood Hills, a 9 hole course found up in the highlands. Our condominium has the only tennis courts on the west end of the island. Make sure that you plan to visit Kalaupapa by mule, plane or hike in/out to see the Hansen Disease Colony before all the patients are gone and the tours end. The Nature Conservancy offers tours to the Rain Foreest and the Sand Dune Preserves. Hike to the water falls on the east end in Halawa Valley. Visit the Molokai Coffee Farm - the Macadamia Nut Farm - The Molokai Salt Farm - the Meyer Sugar Mill and Museum and the many historical fish ponds and churches throughout the island. Lots of people have Ke Nani Kai condos for rent. But this unit puts the rest to shame. This is truly a home where you will want to stay for much longer than you planned. We are veteran travelers to Molokai since a 1979, watched Ke Nani Kai being built, and have stayed in various units over the years. But this week-long trip and the stay in Rose and Gene's condo was more than we have been blessed with before. Rose's description of the condo is not a marketing gimmick. All the supplies, the view, and the beautiful furnishings are even more luxurious than you could imagine. When we buy our Ke Nani Kai condo, our interior designer will be Rose! What a great place to celebrate a birthday, successful kidney transplant, and Valentines. Mahalo!

probably the most helpful and nicest owner we've rented from. been to a lot of islands and stayed at a lot of condos but this one is right up there at the top. beautiful interior, easy to use keyless entry door, all the facilities worked great, etc. I could go on for every but i'll just say that this condo was wonderful with it's great view of ocean and quiet neighbors. thank you rose for making my vacation a great experience. tim and bunnie

We stayed at Rose & Gene's condo at #115 Ke Nani Kai from May 28th until June 4th, 2009 after spending a week in Poipu on Kauai. Our impression was that, while Kauai is becoming ever more touristy, Molokai is becoming less so. If you want a vacation in which stress melts away entirely, then do yourself a favor and visit Molokai. Better yet, stay at Rose & Gene's place on the sunny west side of the island. The condo overlooks the 3-mile long Papohaku Beach, light pollution is minimal so that the night sky is illuminated in a way that few ever see (you can see the Milky Way galaxy head-on), you are visited on the lanai by wild turkeys in the early morning and late afternoon and by bufo toads in the evening, and the fully-equipped kitchen, furnishings and Rose's decorative sensibilities make you feel right at home on this island paradise. Some of the most pristine and secluded beaches are on the west side and within walking distance from the condo (we especially liked Kepuhi Beach located just off the "back 9" of the Kaulakoi Resort and the two Mauliuli Beaches directly north of Kepuhi Beach). Also, within a 5~10 minute drive is Dixie Maru Cove, which is ideal for snorkeling and swimming. Be sure to take the mule ride down into Kaulapapa and to drive to the east side of the island to see Halawa Valley. Also, people told us that the guided hike through the Halawa Valley led by Eddie Tanaka is worthwhile. Rose provides information on how to contact Eddie to schedule a tour. We can't wait to return. Vacations are almost always a great thing. The one that my husband and I took this year to Rose's #115 condo on Molokai was one of the best and most relaxing ones we have EVER taken. We stayed for a week in the first part of April and couldn't of asked for anything more! The condo was very well stocked (in fact, don't go to the store before you go there and check!), the location is great, what more could one ask for? The only thing that we can think of is....to be able to come back! Thanks to Rose and all the information she shared with us regarding the island, we felt like we were home. We've all heard the saying "home away from home" and I can honestly say that Ke Nani Kai #115 condo is truly our "home away from home" and can't wait to go back again. Mahalo Rose & Gene

Molokai was a "big unknown" to us, being the only island in the chain we hadn't visited. But what a nice surprise! Not only was the west coast just the perfect setting, but your condo was cozy and beautiful, and so well equipped...like finding homey comforts in a heavenly wilderness. We loved the pristine beaches, rolling green hills, and our trip to Halawa Valley with Eddie Tanaka, a truly educational experience. We'll return.

Mahalo Rose! Loved everything. Had perfect weather the whole 7 days; sunshine & wind or breezes from the NE. The many beaches and tide pools are very special. Thanks for giving us Eddie Tanaka's name. His tour of the Halawa Valley & falls was fabulous and educational too. We learned so much Hawaiian history from him; his dedication to cultural tradition is inspiring. We hope he has his way and that Molokai remains un-spoiled. Oh yes -- loved watching the humpbacks breach, from our lanai! We'll try to return!

As we sit on the lanai watching our last sunset on Molokai (for this trip), we are already planning our next visit. The peacefulness and tranquility of your condo and the island are a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of Maui. All we want is to find a private beach where we can watch the waves and the sun move across the sky. The only problem here is deciding which beach to go to each day. Unlike most of your other guests, we did not do any of the "tourist" activities on Molkai. Everyday we packed our cooler and went to Papohauku or Make Horse or Murphy's Beach and let time pass as we relaxed under the Hawaiian sun and were soothed by the sound of the ocean. For us that is a perfect vacation and that is exactly what we had. Mahalo.

Thank you for being so generous with your “stuff”.Some of the hi-lites of our trip were:#1 - Kamakou Preserve. We were so lucky to book this early (6 months ago) as they only take 8 people, once per month.#2 - Damien Mule ride to Kalaupapa. This is a must do!#3 - Finding the fruit stand to the left of the airport exit. Bananas 4 for $1.00, Starfruit 4 for $1.00, Medium Papayas 75 cents. He is on the honor system. Box was full of $$. If we did that in California, not only would they steal your fruit and $$$, they would TAG your table. Love this place!#4 - Adobo at Oviedo’s in town - Great take out. Saimen and Fish ’n Chips at Hotel Molokai.#5 - Walks on the many beaches.Thank you - Mahalo,Bob & Marilyn Wise, Novato, CA

As entered in the condo guest book: Rose, Thank you so much for the use of your home away from home. Everything was lovely. The weather close to perfect and we had a great time exploring this beautiful island. We did the mule ride -lots of fun- drove from one end to the other (several times!) and even had a few days of just sitting and reading. Loved the sunsets, floating in the warm ocean and meeting the friendly people. Saw deer, mongoose, wild turkeys and birds galore! Have to wonder what is up with the pancaked frogs!! Surf came up near the end of our stay. Amazing sight (though the locals tell us this is nothing yet!) We are off to the big city and Oahu for a few days before home. Driving there will be a shock after Molokai! Thanks Again!
