This cabin has a living area with fireplace and adjoining study wi tv, kitchen with breakfast nook, and laundry room; master bedroom with queen bed access to full bath. Adding to the charm is the fully carpeted divided loft attic sleeping areas with one king and two twin beds. Large fenced lawn. Perfect for family or friends to congregate and enjoy Tahoe's scenic views, water and mountain sports, and the casinos year round.
Downstairs, tv den, full bath, and Queen bedroom. Upstairs loft rooms, king bed, and two single beds.
Fully furnished with large fenced yard and driveway parking, 2 vehicles only. Cable TV basic, DVD/Sterio, Washer/Dryer, Stove, Microwave, and BBQ, wood picnic furniture for warm weather outdoor family events.
This property is located within one-quarter mile of the 'Y' shopping center, two miles to Tahoe Keys Marina and the lake, Historic Camp Richardson/Kiva Beach and Mount Tallac, hiking, lakefront dining, water-sports and swimming, skiing, snow boarding and ice skating. Only four miles to Edgewood Golf Course, Heavenly Village Ski Resort and the new Heavenly Village Mall with Cinema's, Arcades, Shopping and Stateline Casinos. I recently rented this property along with my Husband and three young children. The owners made the rental process so easy. We were extremely pleased with the overall quality of the cabin and its amenities. It's clean and excellently maintained. The space is utilized very well. The kitchen was roomier than expected. The loft was spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We all slept great. The bathroom is nice and updated. My kids were happy to find a box of toys in one of the closets. I was especially pleased to see how abundantly equipped the entire cabin was,and the decor was enjoyable and fun to look at. (My personal favorite: the map of the Tahoe area - including ski runs - in the laundry room.) The internet is very easy to access and fast too. Not only would we rent this place again next time we visit South Lake Tahoe, but we would highly recommend it as well. Thank you Larry and Donna! :)Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Lovely authentic old Tahoe charm, plenty of rooms, had many great dinners around the living room fireplace, almost walking distance to Raley's & Starbucks. The shower is right up there with the Four Seasons! We visited during summer and appreciated the convenient location, quiet setting, being able to prepare our own food (we're on a special diet), wash clothes, and taking sumptious showers. :-)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our stay in this cabin was great. It is extremely clean and very comfortable with everything you need for a fun vacation away from home. Safe and quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. My 4 kids loved the large loft bedrooms (with their own TV). Owners are very helpful and accomodating. Cabin is close to everything: skiing, hiking, casinos and shops. Definately looking forward to staying again when we visit.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Our family enjoyed a great one-week stay in the cabin. Everything met or exceeded our expectations and we found the cabin to be fully furnished with everything (and more) needed for a great vacation. The neighborhood is very quiet and the ambience is authentically “Old Tahoe.” The owners responded to every question we had before our stay and many touches we found were reflective of the care and pride they invest in this unique property.A true Tahoe experience - we hope to return soon!Did you find this review helpful? My family and I enjoyed staying in this cute cabin. It has many amenities, making our stay very comfortable and it is in a great location. We felt very safe in this cute family oriented neighborhood and hope to be able to stay here again. PERFECT place to stay for myself and a few friends for the weekend. The cabin has all the ammenities you will ever need for a nice stay, and the neigborhood is very peaceful. GREAT little cabin rental and actually much bigger than expected! Very roomy, comfortable, and CLEAN! All amenities of being in your own home, very cozy. Close to everything. The large fireplace is great too. I'm sure this place is great during the summer - we stayed in the snow and there was lots of it. Had a blast in the front yard making snow tunnels and saucer slopes. Will definitely be back for many more stays here. Owners are great and very helpful. Great cabin and great price! It's our new FAMILY FAVORITE! About the owner: Larry is an avid skier and ski instructor at Heavenlt Resort. Donna is an artist working in oils and water colors. She likes to go plein air painting in spring and summer. Larry likes to ski and snowshoe in winter. Summer is fishing and hiking in the mts around Lake Tahoe.
Why the Owner Chose Y Area:
We retired and moved to Lake Tahoe and the cabin was to small for us to live in full tlime. We also use it for family and friends visiting us.
