What a great place for a couple. Our tropical Mango Tango, one bedroom, one bathroom vacation rental is part of a 7 cottage resort complex located on the quiet Cyprus Avenue behind the Chapel By The Sea Church.
These beautiful homes are landscaped together in a tropical garden, with palm trees and room for 2 heated pools, all very peaceful and private. We are two minutes walk to the beach. Unlike most residential homes we are very close to the shops, and restaurants, such as Frenchy's and the Palm Pavilion, listen to live music while watching the sunset, you will not have to worry about driving or parking your car, just leave it in our parking lot. Pier 60 is also very close, and famous for its Key West style sunset festival, which takes place every evening.
This home is privately owned and managed. You will meet and deal directly with the owners when you check in and out. We also have a two bedroom, two bathroom and two bedroom, one bathroom vacation homes available.

It was simply fabulous from the day we arrived to the day we had to leave. Theresa and Max are the greatest hosts. They attend to every need without delay and know each guest by name. Our one bedroom efficiency Mango Tango was perfect for us. Theresa met us on arrival and explained everything we needed to know about the apartment complex. Our unit was well equipped and clean, neat, and no bugs. Sufficient hot water, linen's, beach chairs, umbrellas, and two very clean lush tropical pool areas. The other guest were friendly and we met many new friends. Our one request was just a comment in passing to Max and Theresa that we had a back ache sleeping on the mattress. They immediately tried to change out the mattress but there were none available so they went out and bought a new one for us. We were so thankful and very impressed. That was above and beyond anything we expected. Clearwater Beach was just voted the best beach in Florida. I just can't say enough about our stay except y'all come and stay for a spell but save us an apartment. Thanks so much Max and Theresa.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The cottage was just as pictured. Very clean, comfortable and within a very short walk to everything. First time to Clearwater Beach and we loved it...The pool was slightly heated and very enjoyable. Would love to return. Hightly recommend.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Great location, a nice easy walk to the beach and Pier 60. Shops and restaurants are close by, though far enough away to enjoy some quiet. Very clean and hospitable folks. Perfect for my wife and I. Had been over a year since we got away without any kids and it was a much needed get-away. Only downside...bed was not the most comfortable, but we survived. Book it!Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Good Afternoon, Teresa: I just wanted to let you know that out of all the places we were exploring to stay on our vacation, it was your quick response and the friendliness of your emails that led us to choose your place as our vacation spot. I want to give you a special THANK YOU for everything you have done to help us get our vacation plans underway. It's a special vacation for us, we are actually going to be on our honeymoon. We are hoping to retire near St. Pete/Clearwater area. We both love the ocean, walking the beach and planning on taking some of the days we are on vacation and exploring some of the resident owned parks in that area. Hi Teresa. Just a note to say we loved Mango Tango. It was so clean, attractive, well maintained and so well equipped. I had the best stay of our entire trip south there. Loved the closeness to the beach yet the quietness of being away from the beach. Your patio area was so peaceful. We would love to come back for a couple of weeks next year. The Mango Tango is the best place to be for my boyfriend and I. We have rented this condo for the last three years in a row for our beach vacation. It's so perfect for many reasons. The pool area is like a vacation spot in itself. When you feel like taking it easy and you don't want to go to the beach, you have your own private area to relax and enjoy the scenery of palm trees and beautiful landscaping. I can't imagine wanting to go to any other place. Close to shopping, restaurants, the beach, The Mango Tango has everything you need to stay for the week. The price is so reasonable for what you get. We love the Mango Tango:)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

About the owner: We have always enjoyed traveling and are so proud to offer our vacation cottages as a great place to stay on Clearwater Beach. This is our full time occupation after exiting out of the corporate life 9 years ago. We own the experience from your first moment of contact to the final 'see you next year' and we take that very personally (no middle management company with us). We live in the same neighborhood, know the island well, experience many of the same activities and strive to deliver an accommodation that will exceed your expectations. Teresa grew up outside of Philadelphia and has lived in Tampa/Clearwater Beach for 31 years. Max is from the country of England and loves to swap stories of mariner life.
Why the Owner Chose Cyprus Avenue Beach:
We chose to buy vacation rentals on Clearwater Beach because we moved here over 10 years ago and thoroughly enjoy the barrier island lifestyle. The Gulf of Mexico is our back yard, Caladesi State Park is our hike into the wilderness or kayak through the mangrove trails, beachfront restaurants with music greet every sunset. There is so much to do and the weather can't be beat. We live in a great place and want you to experience this also.

We receive so many compliments on our cottages. Many of our guests enjoy the private garden area, landscaped with coconut trees, banana trees, birds-of-paradise, flowering bushes of all types, towering palm trees all nestled around our spacious patio with two heated pools. Plenty of room for sunning, reading, swimming, grilling and enjoying the outdoor life. Drink your coffee on the beach as the sun begins to rise, take a power nap in the sun-chair by the pool, don your best flip-flops for the walk to dinner just blocks away, it's all here and close by!
