Florida style villa, fully refurbished. Private heated caged pool. Full air conditioning. Full wifi fios internet access. Private secluded garden. Open style main lounge with 2 seating areas opens up to the pool area via 8 full length patio doors. Large fitted kitchen with all facilities. Small den with chaise lounge and sofa bed in addition to the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master suite is on one side of the house and the other 2 bedrooms are 40 feet away!
Telephones in all rooms, 4 TVs inc 55 inch plasma and hi fi system. Patio area is fully equipped. Large 2 car garage. The house is situated just 2 minutes drive or 10 minutes walk from Siesta Key beach - far enough away to be quiet and near enough to pop down to see the sunsets. The beach at Siesta Key has been voted in the top 10 in the USA on many occasions. It has the finest powder sand and wonderful safe blue waters. Nearby Sarasota is a cultural oasis in Florida and boasts some of the finest restaurants in the South.
Full wifi fibre optic internet (20,000 kbps) access throughout house. Fax and printer are available and a work area for computer use.
55 inch high definition plasma TV in lounge with 200 hours hard disc recording capacity.
We can add any extra TV channels (including Fox Soccer Plus - European soccer and rugby) as required at an additional cost.

I have been renting this home for 9 years for approximately 3 months each year. I could rent any home on Siesta Key, however many things keep me coming back to this house. The most important of those are the owners. David and Corrine are great to work with. They are constantly updating the house and the amenities. They are in regular communication if need be. I am consistenly impressed by their attention to details that make our stay pleasant. The house is maintained in excellent condition. There is plenty of room for my family. The main area of the house is open which keeps us all close during our stay. The pool area is very private protected by mature plantings. The back of the house is mostly glass allowing us to watch our children in the pool while we are cooking or resting. The house is a short walk to one of the best beaches I have seen. The Gulf of Mexico is beautiful and lacks undertow most of the time. The island's village has a selection of restaurants is nice to walk in the evenings. Downtown Sarasota and St. Armands Circle is a short drive and has a large choice of restaurants and shopping. We've enjoyed tours of historical sites that are close. The Ringling museum was a really nice surprise. Every year we find more to do and more to see. This is a great place to vaction. I highly recommend this home for your stay.Owner response: Tom and his family are now friends and we welcome their visit each year. It is a shared 'home from home'. We try to ensure that they have all the facilities to make their stay very happy. We spend time here each year and we continue to try and improve the property each time we stay. It is our intention to provide good accommodation for regular renters who look after the property and enjoy their visit.

This house is charming. It is open and airy, nicely decorated, and extremely well maintained. We felt like we were in our own home. It is a ten minute walk to the No. 1 beach in the U.S. and a half hour walk into a quaint town. We liked to walk into town via the beach, or by road, in the morning and have breakfast in one of the former cottages turned into a cafe. The house has a large heated enclosed pool which is perfect to keep grandchildren busy for hours. Because of the privacy we enjoyed swimming on a daily basis ourselves. Something we would never do in a condo! The house is located near many wonderful restaurants, excellent grocery stores, golf courses, and interesting towns. The owners, Corinne and David, are personable and seem like lovely people. We plan to escape winter and return next year for another two month visit.Owner response: We are delighted that Jeanne M and family are returning in 2013. The house was so well looked after - we had no indication that it had been lived in! Even the 10 patio doors were cleaner than when we left! We have returning renters every year and we do try and ensure that the house is fully maintained and up dated. Recently we have replaced all 4 televisions with flat screen units and introduced Netflix as an extra that all can enjoy. We realize that Hi speed internet access is required, so WIFI FIOS is available.

We spent two delightful weeks in Siesta Key. The house is in a very quiet area within easy walking distance of a beautiful sandy beach. All facilities - bank, restaurants, bars, shops etc are just a short drive away. Myaka National Park and Mote Aquarium are both well worth a visit and are also within comfortable driving distance. The house is superb – spacious, light and airy rooms are decorated and furnished to a very high standard, while also feeling very comfortable and welcoming. The pool is a good size, is regularly cleaned and serviced and was very warm, it took no effort to go in. The pool area, which includes an outside dining area, is well protected from bugs etc by mesh screening. This is a perfect holiday home for anyone wanting sun, sea and relaxation.Recommended for: People with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We have stayed in this property 4 times in the last 2 years, twice for 4 weeks and twice for around 2 weeks. The Villa is perfect, in an ideal position, close enough to walk to the beach and to the Village. There is an abundance of everything you could possible need. David and Corinne are very helpful and accommodating. Shopping is close enough and excellent. St Armond's Circle is an area of upmarket shops and restaurants, we can highly recommend "Columbia" a Spanish style restaurant.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

'May I say what a lovely two weeks we have had here in paradise. As soon as we walked into your home, we were impressed by the standard and the pool was lovely. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed their break and the beach was perfect........we went out to sea and enjoyed the inland waterways....' Siesta is a perfect holiday destination and we intend to return. We certainly did not want to leave! There are a few local shops and restaurants so you do not need to travel far. However, a large supermarket is only about 10/15 minutes away by car. A quiet neighbourhood, a pleasure to walk around and to walk to the beach.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
