We are a family of four, and this was the perfect size for us. Everything was EXCELLENT ! Upon arrival everything was clean and in place. I have nothing but GOOD to say about this property, and highly recommend it !
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
Relaxing at the Beach

The villa was very relaxing! Decorations around the villa really made you feel like you were on vacation at the beach. Everything was clean on arrival (except the refridge which needed a little sprucing up before loading it with food for the week). The toilet handle did break but it was fixed within the day. I did have to pay $30 to have security let us in when I took one key vs. 2 keys because the key box was broken (didn't realize one key for bottom lock and one for top lock- a costly mistake). The bed was VERY comfortable, didn't use the bunkbeds but they looked very inviting and cozy. The beach was great (just a short walk over a 100 yard footbridge)- went swimming (warm water), boogie-boarded (felt like a kid again), walked the beach, rode bikes (convenient rental at resort)down the beach, found a live sand dollar, saw a 10" sandshark washed up on the beach, and took beautiful pictures of the sunrise. No shells on the beach though- that was a disappointment. One jellyfish got us (ouch!). Many areas to visit on our stay- Charleston horse and buggy ride, Savannah trolley tour, Sea Pines shopping/eating, Port Royal golf, flat bike paths, 'Up the Creek' cafe at marina (excellent pork sandwich and key lime pie- 2 porpoises swimming at the marina too), Beaufort (chocolate store to die for).........could go on for hours. It was a fun and relaxing vacation and the villa was wonderful. For some reason didn't get wine on arrival but just being there was like walking into heaven- relaxing, cozy, like we belonged. I would recommend this villa to singles, couples, families with 2 children, young and old.
