This comfortable home (4,000-plus square feet) is located on a low-elevation hill just outside of the Ashland City limits. A private, gated, paved driveway accesses the 81-acre estate. Privacy, accessibility, and comfort are the main features.

This estate is a hidden treasure that features spectacular, 360-degree views. During the evening the city lights appear as sparkling diamonds. A 24-foot, indoor pool(Solar Heated; warm during the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons) and a jetted tub are yours to relax in. Minutes to downtown Ashland and its world-famous theaters, restaurants, and shopping. The Valley View Vacation Rental is perfect for family reunions and other activities (e.g., workshops). An ideal base for experiencing Ashland and the Rogue Valley plus the surrounding Siskiyou Mountains.

Outdoor Features
  • Gas/Electric BBQ Grill: Small Weber. Ideal for small meals. Extra propane is located in on a shelf in the main kitchen.
  • Charcoal BBQ Grill: Weber pot BBQ. Located on Deck during the spring, summer, and fall. Located in the garage during the winter.
  • Deck/Patio (2): The main floor has a deck which is accessed by sidewalks and sliding glass doors from the main floor and the pool room. There is a table with chairs on the deck. The downstairs front door opens onto a concrete patio. The patio area is approx. 20' by 20'.
  • Gazebo: There is a gazebo but the roof is currently being replaced. Rhere are chairs and a small table in the gazebo that is surrounded by a garden.
View/Location
  • Mountain View: The house is on a low-elevation hill that overlooks the towns of Ashland and Talent with Mt Ashland in the background. You have a 360 degree view of the Siskiyou Mountains.
  • Monument View: Looking towards the east you can view Pilot Rock which is the landmark that is within the boundary of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument. If you desire to hike to the top of Pilot Rock it is a 20 minute drive and a 25 minute hike to the top.
