Enjoy this completely remodeled home that rests in an oak tree grove only 100 yards from the best beach on Jekyll Island. There are three bedrooms, and the master has a sitting room with a sleeper sofa. The den/TV room also has a sleeper sofa. The living/dining/kitchen area overlooks the private garden backyard where flowers bloom and nature puts on a show! (and you should see it at night!)
The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pans, appliances, for your convenience. In storage outside there are umbrellas and a few chairs for the beach. Bikes rentals are available on Jekyll.
Jekyll is a state-owned park where only 35% of the land will ever be developed. So you can step back in time to see a barrier island as it was, always will be. The island was the home of a private club for famous industrialists in the early 1900s and the now Jekyll Island Club and Resort was their clubhouse at that time. Historical tours are fun and available all year. Golf is another reason to visit Jekyll; 63 holes in comfortable weather all year round. The beautiful beaches, the uncrowded feeling, the small deer that walk the island at dusk, the friendly people who reside on Jekyll - come and visit - we know you will come back again!

Why the Owner Chose Jekyll Island
After renting on Jekyll Island since 1991, we finally were able to buy a home. We are proud to share our home with the many families who visit the Hacienda each year. It's charming and comfortable, and we love the fireplace. The beach is inviting all seasons of the year, and we'll never get over the thrill of walking at dawn and dusk and seeing the island deer feeding. It's a paradise...

Pet friendly except in June, July and August. No cats allowed, 1-2 dogs per owner approval and $150 pet fee nonrefundable. Cleaning fee $65.00.

Visited for a family reunion that was a huge success mainly because of this beautiful setting. Plenty of room for everyone, close to the beach, everything you could ask for!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Just spent a week on Jekyll Island in this lovely, charming home. Never been to this area before - absolutely loved it! The house was comfortable, nicely decorated and perfect for our group of four adults. It was clean and well equipped. Loved how close it was to the beach. The whole area was beautiful with plenty to do. Everyone was friendly, helpful & very pleasant. Would highly recommend this house and Jekyll Island in general. We will be back!!!
