Enjoy the comfort of our remodeled custom decorated, one-bedroom, one-bath condominium. Imagine being 75 short steps from a mile long golden sand beach on the east shore of Kauai. From your private lanai with unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, you can watch the sunrise and whales passing by.
You will find our condominium at the Pono Kai, in the historic town of Kapaa, on a 12 acre beachfront resort centrally located on the east shore of the "Garden Isle." We are only 15 minutes from Lihue Airport and shopping and restaurants are within walking distance.
Our condominium is a Non-Smoking corner unit on the 2nd floor that has been completly remodeled. Brand new custom-made cherry cabinets and granite counter tops have been installed in the kitchen and bathroom. All appliances are new; porcelain tiles grace the entry, bathroom and kitchen areas. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. Besides these new additions, the condo amenities include beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, tennis racquets, and snorkel equipment for your use while staying at our island home.
The resort itself provides free parking and the front desk is open 24 hours a day. Each building has laundry facilities and elevators. The resort added a workout room as of December. For your convenience there is an activities desk so you can arrange for your island adventures.

- The resort activities desk can arrange for some of the above adventures. There is an activities orientation meeting every Thursday and Sunday morning explaining many excursion opportunities.
Rate Details (In US Dollars)
$125/night plus 12.42% tax. One-time cleaning fee of $75.00.
$200.00 deposit due 10 days after reservation is made.
Payment in full 60 days prior to check-in date.
Cancellation 60 days prior to check-in will receive a full refund.
Cancellation less than 60 days prior to check-in will forfeit all rents paid,
unless condo can be rented. $75 cleaning fee will be refunded.
Personal Check, Money Order or Cashier Check is preferred.

Mahalo for the cute unit. We enjoyed our one week stay here at the Pono Kai. Hadn't been back here since the hurricane in '92. The grounds are better than ever! And this unit has some of the cutest artwork and decor, everywhere you look, something interesting. All of the beach goodies in the closet were a big help. The coolers, snorkel gear etc... thanks! We appreciate staying here and will book your unit again.

We really enjoyed our stay in your lovely beautifully decorated condo. We have been to Pono Kai several times before, but yours is the nicest, best equiped one we have been in. We got quite a show from the whales breaching and the binoculars make it so clear. Thanks so much we hope to be back soon.
