Our party of four (two couples) spent the week at this VRBO property on Via Briza in Paso Robles. The house was comfortable, clean, bright, spacious and fully equipped with all the comforts of home. It is also very convenient to many wineries, and an hour or less drive from Hearst Castle and Morro Bay. We spent several evenings enjoying the deck and its beautiful views of the countryside to the south and west, all with unexpectedly warm evening temperatures and clear skies.

The house was perfect for our (4 women) stay in Paso Robles. The home is close enough to town that it was an easy drive to dinner; yet far enough away that it was very quiet in the evening with a great view of the hills in the distance. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and we got around the sofa sleeper by moving the mattress to the floor which worked well for us :-). The homeowner was very gracious and provided tips on where to have a fantastic dinner (Buona Tavola was wonderful) as well as some great wineries. The entire focus of the trip was tasting and buying wine and I must say we came home with some great finds from some of our past favorites Turley and Justin as well as new favorites such as Paolillo, Donati, and Hammersky. This was a great trip and will definitely look for availability of this house again on a future wine buying trip to Paso Robles.

Our first time in Paso Robles was perfect. We decided on Paso for a couple's weekend because it was halfway between us(Los Angeles) and our friends(Oakland). Ron's house made it even more special to have time with our friends in a relaxed environment with an amazing view. The house was in a fabulous location close to downtown Paso and all the amazing wineries. We enjoyed cooking in the big kitchen and eating meals on the fantastic deck. I am recommending this house to my family who is travelling to Paso Robles in the fall. The value can not be beat! Thanks again Ron for such a lovely weekend in your amazing home.

Ron was great and the house was perfect for our group. The descriptions and photos of the house are accurate on VRBO. The beds were very comfortable and the views are amazing!. We did see deer in the morning hours. It has a great location and is very close to several wineries which we enjoyed. I would definitely rent again!

Thanks Ron for making a weekend getaway so easy... The accomodations were ideal, we had a couple driving down from San Fran, we drove up from LA. Perfectly located with a 2-3 minute drive from the downtown area (recommend the Artisan for dinner and Panolivo for brunch). The house was immaculate, the kitchen had all the necessary utensils, the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the winery suggestion you made (Poalillo has the chardonnay again), but our favorite winery was Per Cazo off Vineyard. The personal effects throughout the property were a nice touch too. Thanks again, looking forward to our next stay in Paso!

This house exceeded my expectations. There was more than enough room. The upstairs living area was fully furnished. There was a great kitchen. The house was very tastefully decorated. The view was incredible and the backyard was nicely landscaped. I saw a deer in the gully behind the house, just as the owner promised. I tried the spa and it was oh so relaxing. The house is very close in proximity to old town Paso Robles. The only problem with my stay was that I was so busy with my son's wedding that I didn't have more time to relax. I would definitely recommend staying at this fantastic property.
Owner response:It is so heart warming to hear that people enjoy my home as much as I do. Glad the deer showed up in the arroyo as agreed :)

Ron's house was the perfect place to stay. It was great that we didn't need to buy any basic supplies. The kitchen had all the utensils/equipment...it felt like being at home. The spa was relaxing after a day of wine tasting and sight seeing. Thanks Ron! We hope to visit your city again and stay at your wonderful house.

This house is so perfect for families to stay. The house is so big.We loved that he kept his personal pictures around the house, so it felt like we were staying at a friend’s house. Also we liked the fact that everything was so clean and we didn’t get the feeling that we had to rewash anything before we used it. We liked that he had so many cleaning products and normal household products readily available to use. Usually we have to buy napkins, toilet paper, dish soap, sandwich bags, foil but it was all there for us. Very considerate.Oh, and he left cds and dvds for us to watch and listen too. A very nice touch!!

My family and I visit Paso Robles several times a year to visit my sister who is situated half way between the family in the Bay Area and the rest in Orange County. Since we are a large family and would overwhelm her, we stay at Ron’s home in Paso. Now after visiting Via Briza multiple times, we feel we have a second home. It’s very close and convenient to everything on a cul-de-sac, yet with a feel of country living. We spend lots of time out on the deck enjoying the birds, sunsets and the view of the surrounding mountains. We couldn’t keep the kids out of the hot tub, but once we did, the adults enjoyed restful evenings there. The floor plan is what we like best. The bedrooms are all situated on the lower level and the common living space is on top. It has lots of light, a great kitchen and a big huge table for dining. He has a Boze stereo with lots of CDs to set the atmosphere in just an all-around functional home. The décor makes you instantly feel at home and very curious about the life of Ron, your host. He has very tastefully decorated it with the feel of his world and his life’s travels. We are heavy VRBO users in our travels and appreciate good homes. We will return often and highly recommend this enchanting home.
