We would like to WELCOME you to BEACH DAYS RENTAL! Our cute 2 story Beach House is only 1 block from the sand. This is a detached, 2 story house, not a condo. Located on the Balboa Peninsula in beautiful Newport Beach, California. On the corner of 32nd Street & Balboa Blvd.

It's the perfect location, as you have the grocery store "Albertson's" right across the street, along with a bike rental & places to eat. There is also a Seattle's Best Coffee inside the store. No need to drive to get groceries, beer, wine, sundries!

To get to the beach, just go across Balboa Blvd. and walk 1 block. We are at the light, so crossing is safe! Newport is renowned for it's beautiful long beaches. Take an early morning stroll, bask in the California warm sunshine all day, then watch a spectacular sunset. Catalina Island is on our horizon. You can book a day trip to Catalina Island from the Balboa Fun Zone.

Within walking/biking distance is the beautiful & exciting Newport Pier. Only 1/2 mile down the famous boardwalk. Bike or walk the boardwalk all the way to Balboa Pier where you have an assortment of fun! Balboa Fun Zone, ferry to Balboa Island, top restaurants, galleries, the Balboa Pier with Ruby's Restaurant on the end!

Or walk to Lido for many restaurants, movies & shopping.

Our beach house has 2 bedroom, & sleeps 7.

Master Upstairs: 1 queen bed, TV, and you will love the full wall mirrored closet....lots of storage!
2nd Bedroom Downstairs: Very comfortable bunk bed Futon, double bed on bottom, twin on top, TV...very roomy bedroom.
Sofa Sleeper upstairs in living room.

2 bathrooms: Master bath has a Jacuzzi Whirlpool Tub + shower
Downstairs Bath: Shower
All fixtures are upgraded.

The kitchen, living room, master bedroom/bath are on the top floor, 2nd bedroom & bath are on ground floor.

We have a 1 car, attached garage with a washer/dryer. We have an automatic garage door opener for your use.

EXTRA STUFF: Storage under the stairs. Living room has a sofa sleeper & TV. Kitchen is roomy & full of everything you need. If you rent bikes or bring them, you can lock them on the patio with our bike lock-up cable. We also have a few beach chairs, beach umbrella, sand toys for the kids, a Boogie board or two, beach cooler, games for the beach & lots more!

What else???.......Flooring on stairs & upper level is wood. Limestone with beach glass in master bath AND a whirlpool tub. Tile in second bath. Slate flooring on lower level & patio. Durable for kids & beach goers. Nice, clean furniture. Leather sofa sleeper upstairs. Kitchen has granite counter tops, all stainless JennAir kitchen appliances. Modern lighting. Patio has a great big BBQ & furniture with umbrella.

YOU WILL LOVE THE CLEANLINESS OF OUR PROPERTY!

  • Another wonderful week in "our beach house!" This is a getaway we look forward to any time we have the chance! We love it! The house is clean and inviting and oooh sooo comfortable. The beach is about 100 steps from the front door and everything you could want or need is within walking or biking distance. Thank you Lauryl & Dan for another memorable week in Newport! It's location is perfect, as we spent most of our days going back and forth to the beach, riding bikes, and relaxing on the patio. Dan and Lauryl's home is immaculate, well-maintained, and very nicely decorated -and it has all the amenities of home! We have made some wonderful memories there, and plan on returning again! The kids had a wonderful time hoping back and forth to the beach. We were able to take advantage of the WiFi which allowed us to combine a little work with our vacation week.   • I was recently transfered by my employer from Napa to Orange County and our family had the opportunity to stay at Lauryn and Don's fantastic beach house. The beach house was ideally located in the heart of the Balboa Pennisula, steps from the beach. The home has all the amenities you will need, nothing has been overlooked. Having been employed in the Hospitality industry for 25 years I recognize the care and attention our wonderful hosts bestoyed on our family, Dan and Lauryn not only took very good care of us while we were there, they were amazing to deal with pre and post booking. My Wife and Son had a great time at the beach and surronding area, the only regret we have is that we had to move to our permanent home inland. You won't be disappointed!
