Enjoy a wonderful Pacific Grove Cottage!
Our bright and very cheerful home offers two bedrooms, each with queen beds, a bathroom with a tub/shower, and a nice size living/family room. We have a full kitchen (no dishwasher) and a sunny dining area. The kitchen is well-stocked with plates and glassware, silverware, and all cookware for enjoying meals at home. All linens for the home are provided. The house was built in the 1920’s and has much charm with multi-paned windows, hardwood floors, and an open and airy feel. A separate guestroom across the patio accommodates two people (convertible queen bed) or provides great additional living space. The house is tastefully furnished and decorated. This is our family vacation getaway so much care and pride is taken in the home.
Unique in Pacific Grove vacation rentals, we have wonderful yard with lawn, garden, fountain surrounded by a brick patio, Adirondack furniture and an area for outdoor dining. Guests frequently comment about how they have enjoyed the yard as a safe play area for their children, for barbeques and for relaxing with friends. With prior arrangement, safe storage on site can be provided for kayaks, bicycles and other recreational equipment.
The house is ideally located so that you can park your car and enjoy easy walks to downtown restaurants and shops, Lover's Point Beach and Park, Asilomar Beach, the Monarch Butterfly Grove, Point Pinos Lighthouse and other sites. Cannery Row, Monterey Bay Aquarium are a five-minute drive, or a 20 minute walk along a beautiful sea wall. The house is very near Pacific Grove Golf Links and just minutes away from the Spanish Bay Gate and the golf courses in the Pebble Beach Resort and the famous Seventeen Mile Drive

Why the Owner Chose Pacific Grove
We immediately fell in love with the bright, cheery feeling of the home, the character that comes from an early 1920's structure, the lovely and sunny (and for PG, unique) yard and garden, and the location central to everything. We also loved the idea of the detached guest room allowing privacy for our parents and friends who may be staying with us.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The house, while roomy and comfortable, is also a classic Pacific Grove cottage. It takes us back to days when Pacific Grove was noted as a summer colony for travelers from all over the west coast. We love its central location allowing us to walk to all of the sites, especially the Monarch Butterfy Grove, Lovers Point Beach, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and to the downtown shops and restaurants. The yard offers lots of enjoyable outdoor living space, especially for those fall and early winter months when the weather is outstanding.

Our family has owned this home since 2002 and it is filled with the memories of stays with our children, family, friends, and the many guests who have enjoyed the home. This is our second home so we do everything we can to keep the house and gardens well-maintained. It is a dream come true for us to have this "little slice of heaven". We pride ourselves on our many "return customers" and that we appeal to families with children, retired couples, friends rendezvousing on the Monterey Penisinsula, or conference goers at the Asilomar Conference Center. We strive to provide a charming and comfortable Pacific Grove cottage at an affordable price.
