If you do not know London well, it is worth knowing that the old mantra of "Location, Location, Location" means a great deal in this city. For nearly every extra mile that you have to travel in London, you can spend an extra 20-30 minutes of 'lost' time.

We also think that choosing the right neighbourhood for your stay can make all the difference, and we like to think that we are in the nicest! But then we are a little biased!

However we do go by what our guests tell us, and we are delighted to report that hundreds of rentals later, we have not yet had a bad one. Here's some of the comments from recent guests:

We are proud of this apartment; and want you to be as comfortable and relaxed as possible, so we have tried to think of everything. It is quite a bit larger than most holiday apartments, and has the added advantage of a fabulous terrace. The apartment is located on the first floor (i.e one up from ground) and is the entire floor of a converted Victorian house. There is no elevator, but the 15 or so stairs are not taxing. It is warm and cozy in winter with excellent central heating, and cool and breezy in summer with the double doors opening onto the terrace.

We have a comfortable four poster double bed with a luxurious mattress and we believe in providing the finest Egyptian cotton sheets, which get many a favourable comment from our guests. Even the sofa bed has the same linen and a fully sprung mattress. The bedroom faces the gardens at the rear to ensure that even the lightest sleepers get a good night's sleep.

We are located on Abingdon Road, London W8, a peaceful and quiet street despite being minutes from the centre of things. You can easily walk to High Street Kensington underground station, the new flagship Whole Foods Store, the Royal Holland & Hyde Parks, Marks and Spencer, a major supermarket, Kensington Palace (where the late Princess Diana lived), or just about any store that you might need.

We are also conveniently located for the Victoria & Albert Museum and all of the other nearby museums, the National Gallery and the principal sites of London (Buckingham Palace, the Eye, Theatres, The Tate, The Thames Walk etc etc).

As a result most of our guests are regular visitors, often people who are staying for longer and find regular holiday apartments too confined. We are also very popular with honeymoon couples.

We are happy to provide discounts for single business travellers and those who wish to stay for extended periods. We may not be the cheapest rental, but those who have stayed with us feel that it has been excellent value for money.

We always provide a personal check-in so that we can orientate you to the area and help you plan the best way to make the most of your stay. And if you need us, we are at the end of a phone.
