About the unit:
This is a first floor unit with a large balcony and nice view. At 800 square feet, it has two bedrooms, one bath, a full kitchen, a spacious front room, a washer/dryer inside the unit and dry sauna (seats 3 comfortably). Two queen beds and a front room sofa sleeper will accomodate groups of up to 5 people. It's set up and used as a second home, so you'll have everything you need and you will feel very comfortable here. All the appliances including the washer/dryer are less than three years old, so your vacation won't be disrupted by having to deal with things that don't work properly. The carpet is updated (sorry, no shag) and cleaned annually. Entry, hallway, bathroom and kitchen are tile.
About the area:
The 'Wildernest' subdivision is a few miles west of the Continental Divide in the hills west of Silverthorne/Dillon. This popular community is surrounded by National Forest, yet provides convenient access to all the fun & shopping that Summit County has to offer. No wonder it's a favorite of visitors & locals alike! It's closest to Keystone, but is a very convenient location for skiing all the Summit County resorts, Loveland and Vail.
It's 2 1/2 miles to Silverthorne (factory store shopping, restaurants), 3 miles to Dillon (grocery, cinema, liquor & variety stores, restaurants) and a 10-20 minute drive to any of the Summit County ski resorts.
Don't want to drive? No problem! Catch a free ride anywhere in the County with the 'Summit Stage' bus service at the stage stop right across the street. Spend a day or two at Vail, it's only a 30 minute drive.
Resort skiing not for you? How about cross country skiing or snowshoeing? There's a whole network of trails you can access without even getting in a car. Out the door, cross the street and you're in the woods. It really is that easy!
