This two-story cottage is bright, sunny and immaculate! It is located in a quiet woods right on the water, and includes a large beach area. You'll find our furnishings are cottage chic and comfortable. Sit inside to eat at a table for 6-8, or eat on the screened in porch with ceiling fan or at picnic table on the deck. The house is cooled with central air and has ceiling fans throughout.
The outside deck is fenced and gated, allowing you peace of mind for your small children, while you sit in Adirondack chairs and enjoy sounds & sights of the birds, deer, and other wildlife. The outside shower at the base of the deck gives you a quick rinse off. A variety of books, games and videos are available for family together time. A new 88' dock is available for fishing, swimming or boating use.
The first thing our guests say is "Oh, my, it's beautiful!" The last thing they say is, "We don't want to leave, but we'll be back!"

As service oriented professionals,Wayne and I enjoy meeting our guests as often as possible. We find being on site next door is a great advantage. Our two Labs love having the company of four legged friends.
Why the Owner Chose Lake O' the Pines
We had this Cottage custom built for vacation rentals and furnished it with quality items. Being on this lake shore of the lake is very reminiscent of growing up on Lake George in upstate NY. It had been our dream to one day retire on a lake, and although we're not quite retired, it is a true pleasure to spend much of our time making everything right for our guests.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
Being a writer, the peace and quiet here is an amazing experience. We both love seeing others take time away from the busyness of city life and experience the solitude and beauty of Lake O' the Pines.

The New Thanksgiving Tradition

The house was just what we needed for our Thankgiving Day get away. We brought our food and clothes, and the house had every thing we needed to complete the weekend. We found the Fall leaves were so pretty and enjoyed watching them for the open deck just off the family room. My family looks foward to going back next year.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family stayed at the cottage for a family vacation after my grandson graduated from high school. We all live so far away from each other so it was wonderful having so much room to be together. Vegas really was a hit with everyone, especially our son and daughter-in-law from Philadelphia who was missing their Lab,Ecco.The games, movies, and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen was a real surprise. And it was SO clean. Also so restful.The guys loved fishing from the dock while the 2 girls and I checked out Jefferson.We hope to go back again.
