This was our first trip to Destin for our family vacation. All of our expectations were met plus some! The Scoggins condo was just beautiful and very relaxing. The pictures do not do it justice. We had everything we needed and the two minute walk to the beach was perfect. We got all of our food and misc. items at the conveniently located Walmart just up the road. There were all kinds of activities available (i.e., water park, cruises, golf swimming, snorkeling the list just goes on)and lots of options shopping! We will definitely be back! Thank you Chuck and Bronna for the great vacation we were able to enjoy! It was awesome! :)

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

This condo is decorated beautiful. The views are nice. The furniture and beds are comfortable. We had an amazing time in this condo. The condo is very clean and stocked with everything you'll need. The owners are very easy to work with and answered any questions I had. I really enjoyed dealing with the owners of the condo. If you are looking for a two bedroom condo, look no further because you'll find a great one when staying here. I'm looking forward to returning to this same property in the future. Wonderful facility and location in Destin

My husband and I, along with our 7 and 8-year old boys, had a great time. We had a short walk to the private beach (which also borders a state park) from St. Lucia and had a great view of the ocean from the wall of windows in each room. The balcony was great! We were within 2 miles of Big Kahuna's Water Park and were located across the street from Wal-Mart for grocery shopping, sunscreen, etc. There were also some great restaurants close by. The unit was fantastic. It was spotless when we arrived and the furnishings truly made it a home. Anything we needed, we had at our fingertips.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

This beautifully decorated and well equiped unit was a perfect place for us to enjoy all the upscale comforts and facilities of this resort and Destin during the months of February and March, 2010. The owners courteously and efficiently provided all the documentation and availability necessary to make our stay worry-free.

This was our first trip to Destin, and we loved it! Silver Shells, and specifically 605 St. Lucia, are exactly what we were looking for - the amenities of a resort with the comforts and conveniences of a condo. The decor and layout of the condo are fantastic. We look forward to visiting again.

10/19/08 We stayed at 605 St Lucia in October. Bronna Scoggin's great attention to detail made the rental process effortless. The condo was beautifully decorated (better than the pictures) and very comfortable.-- Silver shells is a well appointed resort with easy walk to many beachfront restaurants. We enjoyed the exercise facilities and had a wonderful meal at Ruth Chris. WE look forward to renting again from Bronna on our next trip to Destin.

We have stayed in condos all over the United States and one our favorites has to be this one at Silver Shells. It is immaculately decorated and furnished. Much thought has gone into making the guests comfortable. We didn't want for a single thing. Mrs. Scoggins made herself completely available to us. The condo is well-situated and very quiet. The bed is divinely comfortable. We loved that the bedrooms were on either side of the living space so we didn't feel cramped. Rest assured when we visit Silver Shells again this is the condo we will choose! Thank you, Mrs. Scoggins!

Wow! The pictures do not do this condo justice. Vacationed at St. Lucia three times in the past two years and this condo is a step above the rest. Loved the tasteful furnishings, my husband preferred the recliner over the sofa...a guy thing! The furniture was much more comfortable than the other condos we've stayed in previously, especially the beds! The Scoggins' were very attentive and accomodating. We thank them for allowing us share their beautiful second home. We will be back to this condo, guaranteed!

The furnishings were so beautiful, my husband particularily enjoyed the recliner in the family room...it's a guy thing! The beds were especially comfortable. The Scoggins are so nice and accomadating, it was a delight to rent from them. We loved the condo, it is BEAUTIFUL!! on the inside and the resort and building are so wonderful. We will go stay again. It was a great weekend, we hated to leave!

Just returned from 4 fabulous days.My wife and I didn't want to leave and on the two day drive back to Texas tried to figure out how we could arrange to return next year. The pictures on the web site are just what you get. Believe me it's 100% better in person!!! Thanks to Bronna Scoggins allowing us to experince this wonderful unit. Did I mention it's close to resturants and there is a SuperWalmart just down the street.The underground designated parking spot, the elevator that opens on the 6th Floor just a few steps away,the Lagoon Pool has to be one of the largest ever built, the beach and the beach snack shack.If you rent unit 605 St. Lucia you won't be dissappointed I guarantee it.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at your condo. It was beautifully decorated and had everything that we needed to enjoy our week. The beach is beautiful and we enjoyed drinking our coffee on the balcony each morning and being able to quickly walk to the beach or pool each day. Thanks again.

Your condo was teriffic. We had a wonderful time. The weather finally turned warm for us on Thursday and Friday. Otherwise, it was beatiful, just a little cool for the :bathing suit". We spent our time on the golf course those days. Thanks so much. The guys had fun too. They had many friends scattered up and down the beach. Hope we can revisit your place soon!

We just got back from staying at your condo in Destin. Wow! It was beautifuly decorated, clean, and in the perfect location in Destin. We especially enjoyed the lagoon pool and having the beach chairs and umbrella set up daily on the beach. We were close to all the shopping areas and restaurants and really enjoyed being in walking distance to The Back Porch. This was the first trip my wife and I took since our first child was born 8 months ago and we can't say enough about how happy we were that we chose this condo. We look forward to staying here again and bringing our son the next time.

12/05 We can not say enough good things about our winter stay in this unit. It was so cozy and comfortable. The whole Silver Shells complex is top notch. We loved the underground parking with the elevator taking us right to the carpeted indoor entry hallway to our room. The club house is excellent with their heated indoor/outdoor pool, lots of exercise equipment,a billiard room,an arcade room, tennis courts and basketball court. In the winter there are twice weekly water aerobics classes also. The on sight security guard kept close watch on things. One night as we were packing to move out we left the door ajar and soon heard a knock on the door. It was the security guard checking to see if everything was alright. We felt very safe. Wanted to let you know what a great time we had at your condo. We love it here and think your condo is so nicely decorated. We just bought a new home and your decorating style is similar to what I want to do, so it gave me some ideas and got me in the mood for some shopping! I loved the lagoon pool and my daughter really enjoyed the kiddie pool. Thanks for providing a Pack n' Play for my daughter. The beach was just perfect. We did a little of everything... relaxing, eating, shopping and playing! It was so nice that we could walk to Grazie and the Back Porch for lunch and dinner. I would definately recommend your condo to anyone and will bring my family back to stay again! Thanks again for making everything so accomodating for us, we really appreciate it.
