This luxury condominium located in the popular Tahoe-Donner area of Truckee, California will leave you feeling like you have checked into a five-star resort that has all the comforts of home. On your doorstep is historic downtown Truckee which boasts superb restaurants, and a chic shopping district. Lake Tahoe itself is only 16 miles away.
Built in 2003, this condominium displays designer furnishings and appointments. The bedrooms feature luxurious mattresses, down pillows, and elegant linens. Two bedrooms each have a queen bed, and the third guestroom has two twin bunkbeds. An inflatable queen bed can be set up in the family room to accommodate two more guests. The gourmet kitchen has a gas range, granite countertops, dinnerware for twelve, and cookware for the gourmet chef. The dining area seats eight comfortably, and along with the cozy family room, looks out onto the secluded greenbelt of majestic pine trees. The family room features a thermostat-controlled fireplace and subdued lighting.
Enjoy a DVD movie on the Denon surround sound system, or choose a tranquil evening with a book by the fire. On hand are an extensive collection of family games and puzzles, and a library of DVDs, paperbacks, and children's books. The deck has a gas barbecue available for year-round use and a relaxing seating area. DSL is also available for internet access, as is a wireless printer and fax machine.
As a guest in our condo you have access (for a small fee) to the extensive amenities Tahoe-Donner has to offer. These include an 18-hole championship golf course, a brand new state-of-the-art fitness center which boasts a year-round lap pool and several Jacuzzis. Tahoe-Donner has its own ski resort with miles of cross-country trails and a great ski school for the kids. In summer you can relax at the private beach club and marina on Donner Lake where you can rent kayaks, sailboats, canoes, peddle boats, and windsurfing equipment. There is also an equestrian center and extensive hiking trails.
