Hi Rick, we would like to thank you for your hospitality during our stay at your Burke's Landing property. We loved the home, the huge yard and dock. All of the amenities were there, firewood, grill, tubes for the lake, even spices for cooking and so much more that our trip so enjoyable especially having renters next door with a daughter the same age as ours. We look forward to returning and would love to rent both properties with friends sometime next year. Also, good luck on your upcoming tournaments and we look forward to hearing more of your stories and Craig definately enjoyed the striper filets. My family and I stayed here during Labor Day weekend. The view from the property is outstanding! My children loved running around, swimming, and fishing. We thoroughly enjoyed the place and found it very comfortable and relaxing. Rick even came by to see if we needed anything! You can't go wrong with this choice!

May 2010 three night stay

My wife, our dog and I stayed at the trailer on the property for three nights. We enjoyed our brief stay and plan to return next year for a 3-4 week stay. As the description says everything is provided including a nicely equiped kitchen and the ability to grill using either charcoal or gas. Great place for a family get away.

My wife and I stayed at Burke's landing for 12 nights in September 09. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The lakefront setting is virtually unbeatable, and we loved the surrounding area too. Rick was always available if we needed any help.We had a great time and would definitely consider returning here in the future.

We stayed at the Burkes landing property and we had a wonderful time.Rick was absouetly right, everything you needed was at your fingertips. I highly recommend this place for a quiet peaceful get away. Rick came by twice a day to see if you needed anything, and if you did well he was quick to make sure you had everything you needed.

We have stayed at Burke’s Landing for the past two summers and have had a WONDERFUL time. Rick is a great host and keeps the property well maintained. The cottage has all the necessities for a relaxing getaway. We rented the pontoon boat the first summer and enjoyed it. Our second summer we brought our own boat and Rick’s docks were thoroughly equipped to maintain our boat. Our dog Dusty gives the place two paws up and looks forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at Burkes Landing. Rick and Randy had everything spotless and set-up for our arrival. They are great hosts. Everything that you could think of was provided to make for a worry free relaxing stay. There isnt anything I would change. Perfect for a person bringing along a boat, nicely built dock with easy access and even power for chargers. We will be back, but we'll be bringing our Black Lab along this time. THANKS!

This was our 1st trip to Burke's Landing and will not be our last. Our family of 5 had a wonderful time. The cottage had all the comforts of home. DirectTV, AC, everything you need to help enjoy your vacation. We also enjoyed the use of the pontoon. Ran very well, plenty of room for the whole family. Came in handy for baiting the hooks for the kids and all those shellcrackers we caught. (Sorry again about losing the gas cap Rick) Rick was very accessible and checked in regularly to make sure you had everything you needed. Thanks again Rick! We look forward to seeing you next year.

This was our second trip and did not think the first one could be topped. Well, we are happy to say this one was even better. We cannot say enough good things about Rick and Randy and there places on the lake. It is probably as close to heaven on earth as it can be. We look forward to many more trips before we retire and move close to these great people in this area. Simply stated, everything rates a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10. We really enjoyed our stay at Burke's landing. Very peaceful! Rick went out of his way to make us comfortable even finding golf courses in the area for us! Mid-Carolina GC was great. We will be back to get some of those stripers next year!

June 17 - 24, 2006: We had a wonderful experience at this property. Rick came to greet us after we arrived and reviewed the property as well as the boat and jet ski we rented. He reassured us if there was anything we needed to call immediately. He respoonded very quickly to our inquires. He took the time to review some of the local opportunities as well. We were very pleased with the cleanliness, comfort and plentiful ammenities provided as well as the overall setting of the house on the lake. We were looking for a nice, peaceful and quiet location to unwind for the week and we found it at this property. I would definitely recommend this property.

If you are looking for G-R-E-A-T accommodations, hospitality and the best fishing information on the lake, well you found them Rick and Randy are extraordinary... We have stayed numerous time's with them and Rick is one of the BEST for sharing his knowledge of fishing locations and what they really will bite. Our last trip Rick put us on the BIG Striper's hooked 13, 9 in the boat and 4 were MONSTERS.. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHECK IT OUT!!

Owner response:Darrell & Cindy, I have not had many tenants I enjoyed as much as you two. For those that don't understand "monsters", all four of your big stripers were over 20 lbs. Words cannot describe how much fun our family had during our stay at Burke's Landing.. The lake house has all the comforts of home and lots more! We had 6 adults and 2 small children and had plenty of space for everyone.. The Lake view is wonderful! We had campfires, went swimming, rented the pontoon boat..and much more! I just can't begin to say how much fun we had at Burke's Landing. From the accommodations to the hospitality of Rick and his lovely wife Randy it was most enjoyable. The home is everything you would expect it to be and much much more. We were truly surprised by all the comforts of home. The proximity to the lake was fantastic. At night when you went to bed you could see the ripple of the lake on the bedroom ceiling. Needless to say I can't say enough good things about our mini-vacation. The only problem was - WE JUST DIDN'T GET TO STAY LONG ENOUGH. Thank you so much Rick & Randy for everything and for inviting us on the boat to see the Fireworks! We'll see you soon, Debbie, Larry and Rocky Road!!!
