Mountainside townhouse on the slopes of Wisp Mountain overlooking Deep Creek Lake! This 3-level townhouse offers 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths on the upper level. There is also a queen bed and double futon in the basement rec room, with a full bath! Each bedroom features its own deck and TV.
There is a 32 inch HDTV and Digital Cable in the Great Room and extended cable in each bedroom and in the lower level rec room (25 inch tv and dvd). We also have wireless, Fiberoptic high speed internet access. Just bring your laptop!
Accessible to the new Adventure area on Wisp Mountain, which is open now (full name is Adventure Sports Center International). There is also a new Mountain Coaster at Wisp. Very fun, great for kids and adults alike....We have walking access to the Main St. slope on Wisp Mountain. The trail is about 500 YARDS from our front door and dependent of weather conditions. We cannot guarantee ski in/ski out conditions. You may access the slope, but will need a valid lift ticket to access.
The main level features a fully equipped kitchen with full refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven and microwave. Also on the main level is the great room/dining area, with a 32 inch HDTV, woodburning fireplace, (in winter), comfy furniture (sofa is a pullout) and table that seats 6-8.
There is also a deck off of the great room with steps to the lower level and the hot tub. There is a large TV with extended cable, DVD and CD player with MP3 hookup. Books, videos, DVD's and games are also available for your enjoyment.
The upper level features 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Each bedroom has its own deck. The master has a queen bed, TV with VCR and its own bathroom. The second bedroom features one twin bed and another twin with a trundle. This room has a TV and there is an additional bathroom in the hall.
The lower level is a recreation room with a queen bed and double futon, and foosball table. There is a full bath on this level also. There is a TV (extended cable) and DVD player This level exits to a wonderful deck with patio furniture and a brand new hot tub that seats 6 people!
Continue on from the deck to a large yard, perfect for kids. Also on the lower level is a laundry room with full sized, heavy duty washer and dryer and a utility sink, tile floor with drain, a great place to store the skis.
There are 4 fans in the unit (NO A/C). Not provided are paper products, cleaning supplies and trash bags. There is a grocery store within a mile of the unit, and a Super Wal-Mart about 13 miles to the south in Oakland, MD.
Weekends are defined as Friday and Saturday nights. If you would like to make it a long weekend, an extra night fee will be determined.
We will only rent to people over 25 years old, please be prepared to provide proof of age. We will only rent to families or couples. Holiday weekends (Prez. Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, President's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) require a 3 night minimum.

We are in the heart of McHenry, close to Wisp Mountain, the whitewater rafting center and the Mountain coaster. We are also a 5 minute drive from the grocery store, restaurants, urgent care center, shops and the liquor store.
