Los Barriles is 40 minutes north of the San Jose del Cabo airport and less than two hours south of La Paz, the capital of Baja Sur.
The deck wraps around the house so you can be in the sun when it is windy and still have quiet and privacy.
This beautiful casita is on the water with it's own entry to the beach. It has a view of both the mountains and the Sea of Cortez. It is called Casa Siete because it is seven (siete) kilometers (4.3 miles) north of Los Barriles - 2 miles north of North Beach - 1.44 miles north of the intersection of the coast road and the paved road.
The owners, who live in the neighboring casa, are kiters and windsurfers. They can help with any of your questions about this area. Did we mention the we have FREE WIRELESS DSL there.
Even the most novice kayaker can use the sit-on-top type kayaks for touring the shoreline. There are reefs with in a few feet of the shoreline for snorkeling and watching animal life. Lobo (sea lion) visits often and is entertaining to watch. The whales start coming in December and pods of 1,000's of dolphins turn the water silver color.

Our 3 week stay at Casa Siete was a wonderful experience. What a fantastic location, right on the beach, with beautiful ocean views from all living areas! We spotted pods of dolphins or grey whales from the deck almost every day! The unit was extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need and there was lots of storage for all our gear. The property was fenced and gated which made it feel very secure. It was only a short drive into town or to North Beach for kiting & windsurfing. Jim and Judy were fantastic hosts, very welcoming and helpful with restaurant and activity suggestions. They also provided kayaks for our use. We will definitely be back and would not hesitate in recommending this property to any future Baja adventurers.

Casa siete is an amazing place. So well stocked, with a cd player, tv with satellite and an excellent and eclectic collection of dvd movies! Short walk to beach which is great for swimming and snorkel. Jim and Judy are fun, energetic, helpful and willing to steer you to the right places to eat, shop, snorkel or anything. This is a great place with great people. We will be back next year.
