I stayed here recently with nine other friends on a ladies winter retreat. When we arrived our worries were put to rest. Three Bears Lodge provided teas, coffees, waffle mix, spices, oils, wireless internet, enough beds to sleep us all comfortably, (and don't even get me started on the amazing fleece sheets for winter coziness), a warm gas fireplace, large hot tub... and on and on! We enjoyed all the little extras and highly recommend this for anyone wanting to stay near Mt. Rainer. What was also impressive was that the staff was very available pre-trip to answer questions about impending weather, road conditions, hiking, etc. Overall a beautiful setting and extra touches that make this place a great choice.

I took my social addicted teen and husband to this cabin along with our other two small children and family dog. There is no cell phone service and it just so happened that there was a internet issue that prevented the junkies from "jacking in". It was the most wonderful vacation of our life!!! We truly reconnected a s a family! To say that there were hours of snow ball fights and board games does not truly describe the time we spent! The location is wonderful with access to the park and walking distance to shopping. I will do it again and again. Even the Teen has said it is a must do!!!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

I was really disappointed there weren't actually three bears in the lodge.... KIDDING! This was an awesome A-frame that was super cozy and fun to be in. I super appreciated that the place was already mostly kid-proofed, and could let our toddler roam about the premises. The owners, Kevin and Melissa Harwood, were most excellent and easy to deal with... it was pretty straightforward. We would defintiely recommend this as a decent place to stay, with lots of outdoor options!
