This beautiful, 1700-square-foot home is neat and spacious and fully furnished with all the amenities of home while providing all the natural wonders of a dream vacation at your finger tips.
The 20-foot by 20-foot, lake-side bedroom has a huge closet, ceiling fan, and elegant Thomasville oak chest, armoire with large TV, CD and DVD, matching bedside chests with brass lamps, gorgeous arched, spindled queen-size bed and French doors that open to the lake.
The second bedroom has similar furnishings with two queen beds. The livingroom has 2 queen hide-a-beds and the sunroom also has a queen hide-a-bed.
Enjoy a glowing fire in the living room while looking over the lake. This room opens to the sun room and kitchen to provide an open feeling. The kitchen, with four stools up against the breakfast bar, and the dining area overlook the lake and sport an indoor grill and provide plenty of room to entertain your guests. The sunroom is the perfect place to enjoy 180-degree views of the lake and absorb the wonder of Mount Konocti surrounded in pastel colors at both sunrise and sunset while relaxing in the round rattan chairs.
Enjoy grilling up your fish as you view the lake and then eat under the covered patio only 20 feet from the water's edge. Catch bass out of your front yard. Watch the grebes dance, egrets hunt, and geese and ducks parade by. Look for blue herons, turkey vultures, cormorant, eagles, osprey, or even a muskrat or lake otter while lounging on lush green, lakeside lawn.
Wineries, restaurants, casinos, motorcycle trails, antiquing, grocery stores, gas stations are all within five minutes, yet you will feel like you own the lake with wonderful lake front privacy. With a hot tub, fireplace, air conditioning, a full laundry room with washer, dryer and wash basin, all linens and towels provided, a fully automatic, covered, lit boat lift, swim platform with ladder and a jet ski lift, you will only need to pack a bathing suit, a fishing pole and a pair of binoculars.

My husband, kids and grandkids had the most wonderful time. The house was big and well kept. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and fun. Sitting on the patio looking at our own private dock and gorgeous view of the lake and mountains, it was truly a "little piece of heaven". So peaceful and relaxing, we could not have picked a better place to enjoy our family time together. The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks everyday and the adults appreciated the hot tub!! The house had everything we had hoped for. We will definitely be back!!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: I'm a school teacher who loves the outdoors and the activities associated with being there. My 2 children are in their 20's and wish they could be here more often. I love it here, and try to be here whenever it's available.
Why the Owner Chose Nice:
I love to fish and water ski. This is one of the finest big bass lakes around and almost always has the glassy, calm water that I love to ski on, somewhere on the lake. The wildlife is incredible here. The white pelicans, egrets, blue herons, grebes with their babies, various kinds of ducks and water fowl are plentiful on the lake.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Just having a cup of coffee sitting in the hot tub to watch the sunrise is reason enough for me to make the drive here. Being right on the water gives you a serene, calming feeling. In the summer, even though the sun is up at 6am and down at 9pm, it seems that there is never enough time. (to fish, ski, sail, go to the wineries, concerts, casinos, BBQ with friends) etc. Just sitting in a lounge chair in the lakeside lawn reading a book, or eating lunch or just staring at a sunset is a gift that makes you count your blessings.
