This is a unique, contemporary house on lovely, secluded Glen Cove. It was intended as a retirement home for its owners, not a rental property, and was all custom-built. It is on one and a half acres, minutes from Boothbay Harbor, but in a very quiet location. The house maximizes water views and sunshine with the South-facing sunroom and deck. There are calm water views of the cove from every room in the house, except the two baths.

The downstairs floor plan is open and includes a large electric kitchen with breakfast bar, dishwasher and microwave; dining area with pull open table; den area with sleep sofa, cable TV/VCR, stereo CD player/tape deck/radio; sun room with single sleep sofa and dining set and second cable hookup; large wrap-around deck with deck furniture, umbrella, grill; half-bath and walk-in closet.

Upstairs you'll find a master bedroom with an antique double bed and handmade vanity sink, built-in dresser, shelves and two closets. The second bedroom includes two twin beds, built-in desk/dresser, and two closets. A full bath (with tub/shower) is accessible from each bedroom and directly from the staircase.

The large yard (1.5 acres) allows for ample parking, playing and lounging. The house is surrounded by water on one side and woods on the others. It is set back from the road for both peace and safety of children/pets. Only one neighboring house is visible from the yard, allowing for virtually total privacy and peace.
