Villa Colorado is located in Great Cruz Bay, a secluded neighborhood of elegant rental homes, just 1/5 miles from town. The famous Westin Resort is located at the head of Great Cruz Bay and offers sailing excursions, boat rentals, shopping and fine dining.
Villa Colorado was designed and built by a long-time visitor to St John and is the culmination of his experience with vacation villas, incorporating many luxury features. There is a central great room featuring a cathedral ceiling, native stonework, hand-crafted bamboo furniture and tropical art. The great room leads to a covered lanai surrounded by arched entryways - all open to the tradewinds and providing views of Pillsbury Sound.
At the opposite end of the great room is the fully equipped gourmet kitchen with serving bar. The kitchen is large enough to accommodate several chefs and we would be happy to recommend excellent local chefs to prepare your special dinners.
Private air-conditioned bedroom suites, each with a separate balcony entrance, are located on either side of the great room. Surrounded by lush gardens containing tropical fruit trees and colorful native flowering plants, the palm-fringed pool invites you day and night. Cocktails on the pool deck overlooking the ocean as the sun sets is the perfect way to end a perfect day on St John in the US Virgin Islands.
Villa Colorado has come to be a favorite with couples seeking intimate get-aways as well as with large families seeking fine accommodations for multi-generation retreats. There are spaces for everyone to be together and private areas for private times throughout the house and property. The villa is very kid-friendly and kid-safe.
