Villa La Buena Vida contains five tastefully decorated apartments, which can be rented individually or in combination for up to 6 families or couples (maximum 16 individuals). The Villa, a 5-minute walk to the town square and a 6-minute walk to the beach, is entered through an artfully designed gated courtyard laden with fruit trees and lush tropical foliage.
The charming courtyard features a swimming pool with waterfall and jacuzzi, poolside patio, shade trees, and a palapa-covered outdoor entertaining area with barbecue, sink, and dining table.
Villa La Buena Vida as has 3 large one-bedroom units, 1 large two-bedroom unit, and 1 smaller studio. Each of the larger casitas (Casita Papaya, Casita Mango, Casita Pina, and Casita Naranja) feature: newly upgraded (2012) high speed internet, air conditioning, full modern kitchen, decoratively tiled bathroom, large bedroom with full-size bed, ceiling fan, and plenty of closet space, and separate living room area with 3 ceiling fans and a built-in couch that can double as a child’s sleeping area.
The smaller casita (Casita Limon) has: newly upgraded (2012) high speed internet, air conditioning, decoratively tiled bathroom, smaller closet and combined living room-bedroom with two twin beds, and ceiling fans. Casita Limon has limited kitchen facilities consisting of 2 burner cook top, half-size refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, and dishes and cookware for 3 persons.
Each casita has its own private entrance off of the deck overlooking the courtyard.
All casitas are available to rent by the day (2-day minimum) or by the month. Linens and maid service are included. Maid service is less frequent for monthly renters.

Stayed here for 3 nights and we were very impressed. Great value for money. The apartments are beautiful and comfortable, the location is great and the courtyard and pool are awesome for hanging out after a day at the beach. Will be back for sureRecommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Recently a group of European and American friends and myself decided to check out Sayulita. There were 12 of us so finding a place that could accommodate was a challenge, and I was given that responsibility. The owner of Villa Buena Vida was very easy to work with and was a huge help in making me feel confident in the decision. Upon arrival and viewing the property everyone was very pleased with the property and their rooms. The garden, covered patio and pool area are extremely well cared for and the layout is perfect for a couple, small family or even a large group. The ability to have separate suites with their own living room, bathroom and refrigerator was a huge plus and made it easier than renting and sharing a house. The decoration and amenities are nice, simple and add to the beach town atmosphere. The cleanliness and maintenance of the property is exceptional and definitely added to the overall quality of the groups experience. Everyone was happy with the property and I know I will definitely return to Villa Buena Vida soon.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We have stayed here 3 different occasions and will definitely come back. This place has many lovely features--nice pool, comfortable rooms, reliable internet, walking distance to beach and shops, perfect weather, lovely town. The photos on this site are a good representation of what you get. It's a very economical vacation since we cooked most meals in and did not need a rental car. The casitas were clean and well-maintained, and the owner was easy to work with. I hope to bring a group of friends down the next time we come.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We just spent the month of January at Buena Vida for the third year in a row, and love it there. The rooms are clean and well kept and the attendants are courteous and helpful. The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
Being in the pool with the views of the courtyard is so beautiful. It is a short walk to town--yet does not get the noise from town because it is not up the hill. You can check your email in the lovely courtyard in the shade. There are screens on all windows--so you don't get bugs. And this property has hardly any bugs anyway. It is essentially bug-free.
