Large home with great layout for family share. First floor bedroom, baths, game room, family room, and large open dining/kitchen area. Second floor includes four more bedrooms and a bath. Newly refinished basement is a great place for kids to call their own. Great deck overlooking swingset for the kids. Perfect yard for flag football and croquet. House totally renovated in 2005. Great, roomy, well-stocked kitchen. The perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach.
The house is located near South Beach and the center of Edgartown. Plenty to do, even if you do not have car access. The house is just off the bike path and bus route at the corner. Explore the island and all its hidden treasures. The beach is the main attraction but there are also plenty of other fun activities - touring the lighthouses, visiting the area winery, horseback riding, as well as local art fairs, farmers markets, and the like. There are many interesting shops and art galleries to visit. Fishing charters are one of the many activities offered to all ages. Martha's Vineyard is a place you will want to return to year after year!

Why the Owner Chose Katama
We purchased this home after spending many summer vacations on MV. We like the proximity to South Beach and Farm Institute, as well as Edgartown. The bike path is very close, and our street gets little traffic. It's ideal for families with children. We have many families who rent the same week each year.
