As visitors to Maui for over 20 years and having stayed EVERYWHERE on the island, this resort was the only place that we kept coming back too. Our unit has a full kitchen with appliances, pots, pans, plates, silverware, a washer/dryer, comfortable furniture, a California King sized bed, a pull-out double size sofa that sleeps two, fresh towels and linens (bring your own beach towel), landline with local phone number (free local calling), a 46” big screen LCD HDTV with DVD player for all of our movie and/or sports lovers, hi-speed, wireless internet access with password sign-on, and a full bathroom with tub/shower attached to the master bedroom (also with a TV). Parking is free to you, our guest, throughout the complex. Our unit is NON-SMOKING (no exceptions), including our outdoor lanai/balcony so please respect this policy. Elevators will take you to any of the six floors in the building. The unit is NOT ADA approved so wheelchairs may require additional assistance by members of your party.
Ideally, the units are for (2) adults, however, (4) people is the legal limit. For persons (3) and (4), there is a $12 per person, per day charge for adults 18 and over. Children under 18 stay for FREE! All units have a minimum (5) night stay. Rates are subject to change based on the time of year and will be confirmed once payment is received. We assign an $100 cleaning fee and add Hawaii State Accommodations Tax (13.42%) to every invoice. There are no other hidden fees or charges. Availability is determined on a first come, first serve basis so please do not wait!
We normally do not give out the unit number because in the past we have had some curious people knock on the condo’s front door in Maui asking for a tour at all hours of the day and night (or calling the public phone landline inside the unit) and we have received some negative reviews from our guests as a result. We have had real estate agents posing as tourists or other interested parties who have no regard for the people in our unit and that is unacceptable to us. Our business is NOT to put money ahead of our clients. Our business is to provide our clients with a relaxing, tranquil escape and we will not cash in our integrity nor will we risk the fiduciary responsibility we have with our clients to make a booking. We have been renting units for 15 years and have earned a stellar reputation with the association, the rental agency and our fellow owners as honest, straightforward and true. The unit is centrally located on the 4th floor of the Mill Building at Sugar Beach Resort. Thank you for your understanding and hopefully, that is enough location information for you and your family.
Our business is taking care of YOU! With an average occupancy rate well over 90% year round, we are thankful that so many customers loved their stay at our condo. Our “A+” rating from the association guarantees that our customers will have the very best unit at Sugar Beach. Our condo is VERY clean, fresh, updated, and we demand that our cleaning staff keep it in top condition. In addition, we have remodeled the kitchen and frequently update the furnishings to make sure that our condo is the best it can be. Repeat customers are the cornerstone of our business! Word of mouth is a wonderful luxury that we have earned by taking care of you---our customer!
CANCELLATION POLICY—All reservations are NON-REFUNDABLE less than 90 DAYS from your check in date regardless of reason (i.e. illness, airline mishaps, schedule change, etc…). If you wish to cancel on a date GREATER THAN 90 DAYS then you will receive a FULL REFUND (less the 3% credit card fee).
We require full payment at the time of the reservation (all sales are final) and receive all major credit cards. In making your reservation, you will speak directly with the owners, not a ‘customer service representative’ with a headset. We will give you the personal attention that you deserve and answer all of your questions. Thank you again for your time.

Why the Owner Chose Sugar Beach Resort: Sugar Beach Resort is quite simply, the best place on Maui! If you want to stay in a mega-story tower with 5,000 of your closest friends, then Sugar Beach is not for you. With just over 200 units and only six stories tall, it is a small enough place where faces become familiar after one day yet large enough to feel a part of an active community.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: Kihei is centrally located on Maui and close to both ends of the island.
