Wonderful spot in the warm heart of Tuscany

We stayed here in Monteverdi for a month with our two older kids (and our dog) and had an amazing stay - we didn't want to leave! The whole family is so warm and welcoming. They made us feel like family and helped us with anything needed. The town is in the hills about 30 min from the sea and it was so easy to drive to various towns, cities, and natural sights like the geothermal museum. We could easily walk to the grocery and restaurants within 5 minutes and enjoyed the local thermal baths (Terme Di Sassetta was magical) and the hikes as well. We also had the most fun making pasta with the family, which was such a special treat. We highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to explore the hill regions of Tuscany and the surrounding towns. We were able to do day trips to San Gimignano, Lucca, Florence, Siena, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Saturnia hot springs, and Volterra among others - they were all 1-2.5 hrs away. We loved our time in Italy and we love the people there - especially Andres, Tania, Dante, and Giuliana. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We hope to return one day.

A great place to stay

My family of 6 stayed for 2 weeks in April 2016 and had a great time.The house was fully equipped with all we needed and the location was central for visiting other areas of Tuscany. Would recommend this accommodation & Mrs Donati's hospitality.

Danke für die schöne Zeit

Wir haben uns in der schönen großen Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und Frühstück auf der Terrasse genossen. Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen hübschen Dorf in traumhafter Toskana-Umgebung. Beim Yoga im Garten zwischen Oliven- und Feigenbäumen war ich glücklich. Unsere Gastgeberin hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Vielen lieben Dank für die wundervollen Tage in liebevoller Umgebung.

Lovely stay!

Staying at Andrea’s home was like being at home. We’ve been there for a month as a family of 4 and a dog. Guiliana is a wonderful woman who helped with all concerns. Cute Italian style apartment equipped with everything you need. It’s very quiet and peaceful in the area. If you’re looking for a place remote and in the mountains this is your spot! Einfach zum wohlfühlen

Mal davon abgesehen, dass die Wohnung alles hat was man braucht und noch viel viel mehr, wurden wir mit absoluter Herzlichkeit empfangen. Wir haben uns von Beginn an wohlgefühlt und haben die Ruhe in der ruhig gelegenen weitläufigen Wohnung absolut genossen. Wir bedanken uns für den entspannten Aufenthalt.

During the summer in Monteverdi are made many parties and events where you can taste the typical products of Tuscany such as the famous pappardelle with wild boar or super Tuscan wines.
