  I was a long time resident of PI years ago so I know all the island has to offer for relaxation. This rental is truly suited for this purpose with the best location, views and accommodations. I have rented Sharon's home for two years and hope to for many more. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

  This was our first trip to stay at Prudence although we are familiar with the island. The house was great. Plenty of space for all of us - 2 adults and 4 children. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the livingroom very comfy. The breeze coming through the house was awesome. Loved the deck and loved the very spacious outdoor shower (never used the indoor shower). The view is beautiful. We brought our boat over and went fishing and tubing. We also brought our sunfish and went sailing. We went biking and swimming every day. Also did a bit of exploring by car. We loved the peace and quiet way of the island. We would recommend the property. We plan to come back.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

  We rented this cottage for family coming in from out of town. Of all of the cottages we have rented on Prudence over the past several years, this is one of the NICEST, cleanest most well-appointed cottages we have seen! The view doesn't get any better than this either--it's PERFECT in every way. We would highly recommend, although are tempted to try and keep it a secret so it's available to us again!! The owners were very easy to work with and the caretaker is friendly and available to renters.

  My husband and I went the last week of May at a last minute planned vacation. It was just wonderful. We have rented in Prudence before and by far this is our favorite house. It is very cute!! The view is fantastic I am not sure it could be better. The deck is wonderful. I really loved the cathedral ceilings on the main floor. We had a wonderful time and hope to go again before the year is thru!! Sue and Paul

  A true get-a-way from city traffic, noise and people. But the water traffic made splendid entertainment viewed from the deck rocking chairs. An occassional wave to and from vacationeers/or islanders was welcomed. Historical points on the island were awakenings to the stream of settlers -from Indians to the Browns of Rhode Island to US Navy. A great place to explore nature -swimming,fishing/clamming, boating/motor and sail and kayak, wildlife and plants, a museum and old missle silos. And a visual paradise.

  This was a lovely cottage with a spectacular view, lighthouse off one side of the deck and the bridge to Newport off the other side. Everything you ar elooking for if you want to get away from it all. Lots of places on the island to explore and take short hikes(1-2 miles). Large deck with room to eat, lounge and take in the view. We really enjoyed our time!

  We loved our Prudence Island vacation!! The house is great, with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of deck space for eating outdoors. The view from the house is amazing. The island is quiet and peaceful and everyone we bumped into was pleasant and very friendly. If you like the beach, hiking, boating, biking and peace and quiet, this place is for you!!

  Good place to go to get away from traffic noise, & congestion & commercialism - your cares just drift away! Sitting on the rocking chairs on the deck with coffee in the morning with views to die for! All the people were friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back!
