If you are looking for a slice of the Old West, Chateau Acadian is the place to be! Sandwiched between Keystone's newest golf course and Lake Dillon in a forested neighborhood, Chateau Acadian is surrounded by three ski resorts and is right on Summit County's 80-mile bike path. This huge townhome has 2500 square feet, is fully furnished with a western flair and is very well maintained with four bedrooms, three baths, a newly remodeled kitchen and five decks. There is a charming pocket park with a mountain creek on the Chateau Acadian property just across from this lovely townhome. Our Chateau Acadian townhome has five color cable TVs, two VCRs, 3 DVD players, CD stereo, FREE Wi-Fi high-speed Internet access, and it can easily sleep thirteen people.
Chateau Acadian is a small, quiet, 16-unit, luxury, townhome development at the world-famous Keystone Ski and Golf Resort. It is centrally located near the junction of Highway 6 and Swan Mountain Road and as this is the cutoff to Breckenridge and Frisco, each of these towns is only about 15 minutes away. The Arapaho Basin ski area, which is often open for skiing into July, is eight miles away and Copper Mountain Ski Resort is just 16 miles. The extensive common areas include two new hot tubs, a large sauna, two lounges, party room with community kitchen, a pocket park on the mountain brook with a picnic table, basketball hoop, horseshoe pits and a complex of huge party decks, one with three picnic tables, canopy and a new gas grill.
The FREE Summit Stage has a bus stop nearby and offers transportation throughout Summit County and to the lifts at Keystone. Also nearby is a shoppett offering such services as a convenience store, a gourmet pizza shop, a massage therapist and a wonderful little Irish pub and restaurant, all within an easy walking distance regardless of the season.
The spacious, Old West living room has a big wall of windows with views, a scenic deck, 32" LCD TV, VCR, DVD player, CD stereo, a whimsical collection of western items, original art and a big stone wood-burning fireplace. The ample seating in the living room includes a queen-size sleeper sofa, loveseat and a big easy chair. A selection of board games is provided to satisfy your competitive spirit.
The large, U-shaped kitchen has just been remodeled with tiled countertops and a wonderful, hand-painted, domed ceiling. This kitchen is very well equipped and has lots of cabinets and counter space. The dining room table can seat up to eight and the kitchen seats three at the adjacent double-wide countertop. There is also a table, chairs, a full-size gas grill and stacks of firewood on the scenic back deck which has views toward Lake Dillon and the snow-capped Gore Mountain range.
Each of the three, large, theme decorated, upstairs bedrooms has a pair of French doors opening onto its own private deck. The master bedroom is decorated with an Old West theme and includes a big stone fireplace, a king-size bed, a twin trundle bed, TV, DVD player, and a VCR. The second bedroom is the Native American room, and it has a queen-size bed plus a TV. The third bedroom, decorated in Ye Old Sports items, has a queen-size bed, a twin fold-out sleeper chair, a TV, DVD player, and a full bath. The fourth bedroom, the Wildlife Room, has two twin beds, a TV and lots of western animals to keep you company. An extra inflatable twin mattress is also provided.
The private laundry room in this townhome is equipped with a washer, dryer and two 60-gallon hot water heaters for virtually unlimited hot water. There is a bathroom with a shower on the main level, a full, split bath with a privacy door between the vanity and the tub/toilet area on the second floor and a private, full bath off the upper bedroom.
