We had such a lovely time at this beautiful house. It was quiet, relaxing, and super comfortable. We had never stayed at Bodega Bay before, and had a good time exploring the area. Easy shopping for groceries etc. in nearby Sebastopol, and even closer, the town of Bodega. My husband made me watch "The Birds" for the first time--it was fun to see since we were right near the filming locations! The house had everything we needed and more. And the owners were incredibly attentive and kind, even with some special needs that we had. Couldn't have had a more lovely pre-Christmas week!

My fiance and I were looking for a quiet, romantic get away for the holiday weekend with our dogs, Windsong was exactly what we needed! The home has amazing views, is very comfortable and cozy, and very well stocked with everything you could need in terms of amenities... fully stocked kitchen, lots of extra towels and blankets, shampoo and conditioner and soaps. There were duraflame logs for the fireplace and a nice market for groceries nearby. There were beautiful walks right outside the door that we really enjoyed with our Boxers. We would definitely go back again!

The property managers did a fine job of having the place ready for our arrival. Coming in from Hawaii at midnight, it was refreshing to show up with lights and heat on welcoming our arrival. They also had coffee beans and a turkey pan (for Thanksgiving) waiting for us. Thanks! The property itself is in good condition with plenty of kitchen for you cooks out there. We enjoyed making a huge pot of cioppino using the fresh crab and other seafood from The Tides fish market. Even though it was abnormally cold (25 degrees one morning), the fireplace kept the place extra warm. The weather also allowed us to get a round of golf in. It was one of the most memorable golf outings I've ever had. After waiting for the frost delay, it warmed up nicely with practically no wind and no clouds. The place also sleeps more than expected. Along with the two bedrooms, there is a sofa bed in the den and a loft. It's also a short walk down to the beach. There were plenty of linens for beds and towels for showering. The washer and dryer came in handy as we were on vacation for two weeks. There wasn't any internet at the home but there is a business in Bodega Bay that is reasonable if you need it. The local markets, Pelican plaza and Diekmanns have pretty much everything you need, although we stocked up in Santa Rosa (Whole Foods and Trader Joes). I would totally recommend this to anybody and plan on using the property again in the future.

The photos and description are accurate, but do not do justice to this relaxing home. It had everything we needed and was spic & span clean. It's a short drive away from just about everything. The opportunities for walking are perfect. You can take it easy or do some fairly serious hill climbs or runs on the beach. Don't miss the walk down Pinnacle Gulch to the beach. Some of our favorite places include Cafe Au Bay (forgive the spelling), the wine tasting shop in Bodega Bay. The prices can't be beat, the wines are great and the owners are wonderful. Also, the bakery (Wild Flower?) at the intersection of the Bohemian Highway & Bodega Highway is awesome! The sticky buns are out of this world. Don't miss the River's End restaurant in Jenner or the mountain top wine tasting at Kunde Winery, either. Two of our favorite local towns were Petaluma and Occidental--worth the drive. The golf course is very nice. There are horseback riding lessons in nearby Bodega at Four Star Farm for beginners through advanced riders. There is also easy hiking on Bodega head. We were lucky enough to get some whale watching in while we were there. All in all, we had a great time and would love to come back.

We had a wonderful time at Windsong over spring break! The views are amazing, the area is lush and peaceful. After a long day of wine-tasting, it was superb to soak in the outdoor hot tub under the stars. We walked every day, and never got tired of the ocean views. We will go back again for sure. Thanks to the owners for providing such a lovely retreat!

I was sitting in my cubicle daydreaming of our Bodega Bay vacation when I remembered that I never wrote a review when we got back! We had a terrific time! The house is beautiful, with a great view. It's comfortable and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay a good one. We were able to just relax and enjoy the area. The fully loaded kitchen is truly that...it's complete. We'd go to town, pick up some fresh fish, bring it back and barbecue on the patio, watch the sunset and just be lazy. The people in town are super nice too. Internet access allowed us to stay connected as well. This was our first time renting a home rather than a hotel and now we're spoiled! It's a great place and we hope to come back!

I've stayed at this wonderful house in the past and I'm dreaming of going back. It's all we needed and more. The kitchen is great and everything you need to make a wonderful meal at your fingertips. Relax and enjoy and plan to spend a lot of time at the house rather than sight seeing and you'll be pleased!

This is a wonderful vacation home, with a wonderful view of the golf course and ocean. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We enjoyed Bodega Bay and the surrounding towns. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet place to relax. We hope to return next year
