We just returned from our vacation with family. We did have a wonderful week with good weather and great food. However, we did not think this townhouse was well taken care of. First and most important there were no window treatments in bedrooms facing the ocean and hot sun. We found this so terrible that we fashioned curtains out of garbage can liners with duct tape and painter's tape to keep the light out so we could sleep. Although it shows this lack in the photos we could noti imagine anyone renting a place without privacy and a way to keep the light and heat out. Other rooms had broken blinds. When we arrived the elevator ws not working and that was a disaster for me who just had a knee replacement and my 18 year old grandson who is in a walking cast because of a broken ankle. This was fixed late on Sunday and we really appreciated that. The commode was clogged, but we managed to plunge and fix that problem. We loved Frangista Beach and would stay there again - just not in this unit. Several things were broken such as the fan in the bunk bed room and lots of lights were not working.There was even a light out in the elevator. Also no phone in the elevator. Our shower in 3rd floor master was so clogged that we had to stand in inches of water and take a really fast shower so that it wouldn't overflow. There are no lamps or tables in the living room and we really found that inconvenient. We did have a great week but not because of this rental. We just had fun exploring Destin and being together. We will vacation in Destin again and probably at Frangista Beach. But not this unit.
