2 bedroom rental cabin just 2 miles South of Marquette on highway US-41 South. Accomodation with great view of Lake Superior. Stone fireplace for cool nights and patio set for beautiful Summer days. Very close to the city of Marquette but yet in a location where you have no close neighbors.

Bike trail along lakeshore just across the busy highway will take you in town for a leisurely trip or head into the hills for some great mountain biking nearby. Marquette Mountain alpine ski hill 2 miles away. Snowmobile trail across highway leads to all major UP trails. Snomobile rental available nearby.

Marquette General Regional Medical Facility is 8 minutes away. Northern Michigan University is 8 minutes away. Marquette Lower Harbor Boat Launch is 5 minutes away. Hiking close by. Nice restaurants and shopping in Marquette.

  • Fantastic rental cabin! It was spotless, easy access to downtown Marquette, secluded, pet friendly, great view of Lake Superior! It was the perfect escape from City life for a great vacation. Perfect for those who love to hike, swim, or just relax be the fire!

  • This was just the greatest place! I wasn't sure what to expect, as the rates were so reasonable. But it was cozy and comfortable with everything you could want, provided. And it was clean! When we opened the door and went in, it smelled good - not perfumed or stale, just good. The owners were flexible and nice and fair. We had a great time there and loved the place - it was everything it was advertised to be.

  • I have stayed at the Rock Cut Cabin twice in the past year. I cannot say anything negative about it. It is a cozy cabin isolated enough for privacy, but close enough to Marquette for dining and spending a pleasant evening on Presque Isle. I am a hiker and the cabin is centrally located to several trails located on both the eastern and wetern part of the U.P. The cabin is very comfortable and the fireplace warms the enitre interior. As long as I visit Marquette, I will never stay anywhere else. This is by far one of the best places I have stayed throughout my travels.

    This is a charming cabin! It is directly across from Lake Superior - imagine waking up and looking out the window to a spectacular clear lake view. It is close to Marquette, nothing is more than a few minutes away. Everything we needed was there. The cabin is clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for us to relax and unwind. The owners are friendly and it was a pleasure to do business with them. We are already making plans to go back next year!

  • The Rock Cut Cabin was a blast. Some friends and I have been renting the Rock Cut for the past three years and we love it. It is right between two mountains so it is completely secluded. It is just far enough out of town to be alone, and close enought to go shopping or check out Marquette. The view on Lake Superior is beautiful, and you can't beat the price! This is a great place!
