This splendid resort home is situated in a quiet neighborhood on big, open deep water with tremendous views of the lake from the home and dock. It is located on a pristine part of the lake, away from the main boating channels.
Just a few short steps over a gentle grass slope is a deep water covered dock with a lovely swing seat to watch the sun go down. The dock is lighted, has power and can accommodate a 25’ boat.
This spacious home is situated all on one level with a beautiful, open floor plan offering lake views from the kitchen, living / dining room, sunroom and master bedroom. It boasts a huge dining area / family room with a stone fireplace and cathedral ceiling. The fully equipped kitchen features a pub style table with four chairs and a breakfast bar with seating for three more. The master bedroom suite is furnished with queen bed, has a walk in closet and his and her bathroom! The second bedroom is equipped with a double / twin bunk bed, a second twin with a trundle bed beneath. In addition there is a pullout sofa in the living room. A furnished private patio on the back of the home is perfect for relaxing while enjoying the tranquil lake view.
This home is perfect for family fun, a romantic getaway or simply a relaxing retreat. Do as much or as little as you like. If boating is your preference, bring your own or rent one.
For a change, why not visit the nearby historic towns of Helen (a replica of a Bavarian village) or Dahlonega (a quaint little town where you can go panning for gold or to the underground mine tours!) If shopping is in your plan, the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall (with over 100 stores) is close by or you can enjoy restaurants and all the conveniences of town, just 10 minutes away in Gainesville. For the adventurous, nearby Dawsonville Forest provides biking, hiking and horseback riding on wooded mountain trails.
