Great condo for a couple wanting a getaway, all the bases are covered here. Clean and well appointed. We were able to enjoy downtown, and the New Year festivities with ease. The owner's were perfect with communication before arrival. Getting in and out was a breeze. I travel into Wilmington often, I am going to make this my new choice for accommodations, so much better than staying in a hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed here recently and had an excellent experience. The loft is close to all the downtown restaurants and bars, no more than 4 blocks from everything. A drive to the beach was only 15 minutes. The loft was beautiful and very clean! I would recommend for any couple coming to the Wilmington area that wants to be within walking distance of the downtown Riverfront area as well as bars and restaurants!

My husband and I stayed here for a few days and truly enjoyed it. The location is wonderful if you want to take advantage of Wilmington's nightlife without a car. If you have a car, the beach, suburbia, and other sightseeing adventures await. They limit guest number to 2 for a good reason! I would not suggest people who do not want to be close to one another stay here; you will be CLOSE! It was "perfect for a couple". It was an incredibly easy 10 minute drive from the airport. We did rent a car and arrived on a Saturday night. Parking was difficult, but not impossible. I strongly suggest you bring your quarters for the meters!
Owner response:Thank you for the feedback and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. In addition to meter parking, there are lots on Water St. that are $5/day. Meters are free after 6:30pm till 9am and free all day on Sunday.

Highly recommend this loft. The location is fantastic. Many, many restaurants within walking distance. Ate at the Little Dipper (fondue), Riverboat Landing (outdoor terrace for 2 overlooking the river) and Boca Bay (almost to Wrightsville Beach). All were excellent. The wine bar across the street was perfect for late evening dessert and wine. The drive to Kure Beach was about 30 min, but worth it as we found free parking easily and the beaches were not too crowded. The chairs, towels, cooler and beach umbrella came in very handy. Plenty of grocery stores on the drive out to stop for beach items. The loft itself is cozy, clean and very comfortable.
Owner response:Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed your stay. Hopefully if you ever come back to Wilmington you will think of us!

I loved coming back to stay for another week at the loft. I wouldn't change a thing about this cozy place. It's a completely comfortable and relaxing place to stay, and it's within walking distance of all kinds of shops, restaurants, historic/scenic areas. It's a short drive to beaches (Kure Beach was most convenient for parking and accessibility), Greenfield Park, NC Aquarium, and other fun places to explore. I'll definitely be back again!

Our stay in the loft was absolutely perfect. The location was quiet and peaceful. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. You must check out the Barista Cafe; a three minute walk to the best breakfast downtown. Everything was very clean. Towels were plentiful, sheets were soft. There is a washer and dryer AND laundry detergent if needed. The kitchen had all of the essentials and was used for breakfast every day. The beach cooler and beach towels came in handy too. The owner is very easy to work with and was very quick to answer all of my questions. I would definitely recommend this Loft to anyone looking for a great weekend, week or even weeks in downtown Wilmington!

My husband and I had a great Easter weekend stay at the Loft . . . perfect location - walk out the door and you're in the midst of all the fabulous restaurants and shops of the Riverfront and historic Wilmington. The loft was spotless and well appointed with nice linens and robes as well as beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler. Even though this is a studio, it has a very spacious bathroom and a nice den area. Would highly recommend the Loft . . . why would anyone choose to stay in a hotel with a unit like this available?????

My boyfriend and I stayed in the condo in mid October and had a great time. The weather couldve been better, but that's why the Loft was so great. On nights that it rained or we didn't feel like getting out, we cooked dinner and had a nice time just relaxing in the condo. It was very cozy and comfortable and having it fully stocked made cooking quite convenient. Also the location was great. Walking out, the river was right across the street as well as walking right into the historical downtown area (which we did everyday). I couldn't recommend a better place for two people to rent for a weeks vacation. Not to mention the beach is maybe ten minutes away and we did use the provided beach chairs. Thanks!

We had a great stay in this loft. It was a perfect size for two people with a full kitchen and bathroom. The unit was very well stocked and very clean. We had great communication from the owners prior to our stay as well allowing us to be very prepared with directions, parking, etc upon our arrival. We would recommend this loft and will be back ourselves if in the Wilmington area again!

My stay at the "Loft" was just what I needed. I traveled by myself and felt totally at ease staying there. The owners think of everything to help make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as can be. The condo is very comfortable and inviting. It was so clean and nicely decorated. It is in a great location downtown. You can walk everywhere. Just a great place.

I recently returned from 10 fabulous nights in this gorgeous condo. Although Studio in size, it was perfect for one or two persons. The condo was completely stocked down to the cooler for the beach. The bath and bed linens were very luxurious. The location is perfect; right downtown conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The owners were very nice and helpful. I was visiting family and I will definitely stay there again. Thanks for a great experience.

My husband & I recently stayed here for a long weekend for our son's college graduation and we were looking for a quaint little get away for ourselves in the process. This loft was perfect! Location was fabulous- right across the street from the beautiful Riverwalk on the Cape Fear river. This is walking distance to cafes, gift shops and night life - or simply enjoy the quaintness of being in the lovely historic downtown Wilmington! Thanks- perfect fit for us;

I only have rave reviews for "The Loft" in Wilmington. It is shining clean, everything lovely & of top quality. It has every convenience; the owners have thought of everything. Traveling solo, I appreciated greatly the sense of security--no uneasiness, slept great and was totally relaxed. I liked the privacy and quiet for writing and reading, even though I was indeed "steps away" from the Riverwalk, shops, restaurants, beautiful residential streets, etc. No lack of fun bars, great food, great music. Liked the owners/artist of Creations by Justine, liked the Pink Piggie for breakfast--opens early and has that local/neighborhood feel. April is pre-season, but the trees and flowers were in full bloom everywhere--Greenville Park was amazing. Spent two afternoons at Kure Beach, very easy to find free public parking close to the beach. I'll be back!!

The condo was great – very nicely decorated and what a comfortable bed! I slept great – also those towels were so thick and comfy. There truly was everything there that I needed! As promised, the location was excellent for walking around town and I spent both days doing just that - drinking my morning latte at Java Dog or Port City; got a manicure and just missed getting in for a facial at the spa – maybe next time. The beautiful old homes up in 5th and 6th streets were wonderful; I hopefully will be able to return with my husband sometime next year and do the historical, ghost, etc. tours. But this time, it was a good respite for me to just hang out, etc.

My wife and I just returned from spending Labor Day weekend in Wilmington and experiencing the 'Loft'. The location is excellent, unit is extremely well-equipped (far better than comparable vacation condos we have utilized in the past), and very, very clean. Parking, while not right outside the door, was within 50-75 steps and only $5 per day. The 'Loft' references the fact that the primary sleeping area is above the living space and is limited in height. Those 6 feet and taller will probably find the comfortable sleeper sofa in the living area more to your liking. All in all, a very nice property and we highly recommend it as a worthwhile alternative to any hotel accommodation offered in downtown Wilmington. Owners are very accommodating and want to ensure that guests have an enjoyable stay.

The Loft was a perfect place for my friend and I to stay while we visited in Wilmington! We were nervous about traveling but this place was quiet and peaceful, just what we needed for a vacation. The location downtown could not have been any better for us since we did not have a car. It is so close to anything you need, and the locals are so welcoming and kind. The Dawson's Creek dvd's were also an appreciated addition as well as the beach towels and chairs. I fell in love with Wilmington and the Loft, and I encourage anyone visiting to stay there!

My friend and I stayed in this loft apartment and it was wonderful! The location was perfect...right downtown and on the river! The restaurants around the location were also great. Wilmington is absolutely beautiful and I would love to go back every year. Everyone is friendly and there is just a relaxing and laid back feel in the atmosphere. The loft was extremely clean and had everything we needed. There were even seasons of Dawson's Creek which I love! I normally do not sleep well away from home, but I slept great in the bed because it was so comfortable. I definitely recommend this loft to anyone wanting to stay downtown. It is walking distance to everything!

I rented the loft for 2 months while I shoped for a home in Wilmington. It was in a word "perfect". For a newcomer to the city I was able to walk to all the downtown resturaunts and participate in the numerous activities including the famous azelea festival. The loft was cozy and had everything I needed while my belongings were in storage. I highly recommend this lovely home for short or long term rental.

What a great getaway! I grew up in Wilmington & love to go back and visit. This was the greatest place. Small and cozy, it was just what we needed. Close by to all our favorite restaurants and shops. We loved being able to wake up and take a jog on the riverwalk. We had a wonderful time! Thanks.

Our stay in your condo was nothing less than perfect. The location is prime and the unit itself has everything you need and then some. We slept better than ever in the midst of a million pillows and soft cotton and down. We were especially impressed with the quality of all the linens as well as the other amentities available to us. We did not take full advantage of the kitchen, as there were too many wonderful restaurants close by, but it was nice to have that as an option. We don't live far and try to get to the coast as often as possible but this was definitely one of the most memorable trips. Also, if you're looking for restaurant recommendations, Caprice Bistro is one of my very favorite restaurants and it's just a few blocks away on Market. We highly recommend it for authentic French cuisine at an affordable price. Thank you for letting us use your home. We'll definitely be back! Jessica and Peter

This was such a cute unit and very clean! It is in a fanatastic location, right on the Caper Fear River. Everything we needed to enjoy our week was there. I was really surprised when they had beach chairs, beach umbrealla, cooler bag, and even a beach bag and towels to use. Jaime was great to deal with and we will be returning next year!

My husband and I loved the loft! It is set up and decorated perfectly! The linens and towels are an extra special treat! We spent each day at the beach (Kure Beach - our fav - is only 20 minutes away) - then we came back and spent the evening downtown. There are lots of things to do downtown - all within walking distance - lots of good food - sushi, seafood, and more seafood - and icecream with homemade waffle cones only a few blocks away! (The Dixie was our fav for breakfast!) There's also lots of shopping - and a very cool jewelry shop on the river side, just in front of the loft. The only negative side is the downtown parking - you have to get up by 9am and move the car, or you will get a ticket.... if you like to sleep in, it's a bummer. All in all, we recommend the loft! We hope to go again (soon)!!
