Other amenities include covered parking, gated entry and charcoal barbecues.
Walk down the stairs and you are on the gently sloping, white sand of Carpinteria Beach. The clear waters provide opportunity for many water sports. Swimming, kayaking, volleyball, boogy-boarding, surfing and tidepool exploration are some of the everyday activities on the beach. The Channel Islands, twenty miles out to sea, protect the beach from heavy ocean swells. In summer boogey boards, kayaks, umbrellas and other ocean sport equipment is available to rent at the beach shack, just past the lifeguard station. To the west, a reef provides opportunity for excellent kayaking, fishing and skin diving.

We are a family of 4 and we love staying on the sand! My kids think Carpinteria is the greatest. You can walk to stores, restauraunts and all the fun stuff Carpinteria has to offer. This is the best beach for children and adults. A real paradise!
