Totally renovated and modern lakefront home gives you the best of both worlds - cozy cottage feel with all the conveniences of a modern condo. Open layout on main floor for kitchen, living room and dining areas. Fully equipped modern tile kitchen with dishwasher, electric range/oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and breakfast island. Second floor contains two bedrooms with queen and double beds. In addition to the bedrooms, there is a second floor sitting room with queen-size pullout couch and two lofts for young adults and children sleeping up to four. House features one and a half baths tiled from floor to ceiling.
Keep cool in the summer with central air conditioning and warm in the winter with forced hot air (from a propane fired boiler) and an outdoor gas fireplace. House has a unique propane gas system powering the heating system, hot water system, gas grill and outdoor campfire fireplace.
Listen to your favorite tunes on the hard-wired indoor/outdoor multi-CD stereo system or watch your favorite television programs on the two room satellite dish, VHS or DVD player. Ceiling fans in every room. Up-right washer and dryer also provided.
Enjoy the water and cool breeze on one of the two decks right off the lake or the small private sandy beach for the kids. Bring your boat or personal watercraft (permit needed) in the summer or your snowmobile in the winter (ask in advance for boats and PWC so private launch key can be provided).
House is located minutes from Splitrock resort, restaurants, golf courses and ski resorts. Area is also rich in sightseeing and shopping at the outlets in Tannersville.

If you are planning a trip to the Poconos, this is the home you simply must rent. My wife and I visited the area in October and had one of the most enjoyable vacations ever. We typically like to do a lot of sight seeing when we are on vacation, but this time, this lakefront rental home kept us captivated. Pictures just don't do this home justice. The view of the lake is top notch. The outdoor area beside the lake is simply wonderful. The outdoor firepit is a great treat. One of the best parts of this home is the upstairs master bedroom. It has it's own private balcony and great views of this beautiful lake. This is truly a peaceful and entertaining location to stay at. We enjoyed the daily visits from local deer population each evening as we sat out on the patio and visits from the ducks each morning. Truly, if you are planning on visiting the Poconos, rent this house!! It is doubtful that you will find a better location. Also, the owners were great to work with.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
