Our deluxe three bedroom plus loft, three bath Condo is located along the banks of the beautiful Truckee river, in the River Run complex. Directly across the river from our condo is the River Ranch Restaurant and Hotel, where the Truckee River Raft trip ends. It is a perfect get-away for anytime of the year vacations. It is located just off Highway 89 at the entrance to Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, one mile from Squaw Valley and four miles from Tahoe City.
You can plan to take a leisurely raft trip down this beautiful waterway, bring your fishing pole to try to catch dinner, or you can simply enjoy the scenic views and sounds of this unspoiled waterway during all seasons of the year. The adjacent River Walk (bike trail) provides miles of natural pathways for scenic walks, jogging and bicycle rides along the river.
Less than a mile up the hill, Alpine mountain has many hiking trails for those who want a heartier workout. The River Ranch Restaurant and Hotel, a short walk from our place, is so convenient for those nights when you don’t want to eat-in or drive to dine out!
Tennis lovers can enjoy the homeowner tennis court, golf lovers can enjoy the multitude of golf courses within a ten mile radius, and beautiful beaches and picnic areas are within biking distance to the house. The activities in the Tahoe Basin are endless.
10 minutes down the road is Squaw Valley Ski Resort where premium and beginner skiing is available. You can also inner tube, have lunch, dip your own candles, paint pottery, have any spa treatment or find wonderful things in the local shops.
The living area has overstuffed furniture that faces a gas starter wood-burning fireplace and entertainment center with TV, DVD and stereo. The dining area has a hearty table that seats six. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities for cooking and entertaining. From all areas of the main floor, you can watch TV, enjoy the fireplace, or socialize with the rest of your group.
The downstairs has two large Master bedroom suites with queen beds, TV, private bathrooms and a sliding glass door that exits out to a deck. The bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed with an exit to a larger deck. The loft located on the third floor has two single beds and is perfect for extra guests or children.
You'll feel at home from the minute you walk in the door!
Unfortunately, our unit does not offer internet access at this time. The Crest Café across the street has free Wi-Fi. There are also cafes in Tahoe City with internet should you need to check your e-mail.

My family stayed here for Spring Break. The condo is wonderful, well maintained and is in the perfect location with easy access to skiing and Tahoe City (or river rafting during the summer). The owner was very accessible and the transaction was all seamless! The layout is great with 2 master suites downstairs and the living area and loft above. We would stay here again!!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.
